TPWW Survivor Season 16 - Witty Titles Are Tiring
 

Rules:

• Everybody selects somebody from the WWE roster, no duplicates allowed. If the contest hasn't yet started, you can change your selection once by making a new post saying you're changing your selection (don't just edit your original post).
• Your wrestler is eliminated if he or she submits or is pinned during a televised match on Raw, SmackDown, Main Event, Superstars, NXT, or a Pay-Per-View event. Disqualifications, count outs, or being eliminated from a battle royal/Rumble does not cause elimination. In multi-man matches (tag, triple threat, etc.), only the person who is pinned or submits is out.
• Your wrestler will also be eliminated if he or she goes three weeks without having a televised match in a WWE ring for any reason whatsoever (injury, future endeavors, etc.). There is a constant countdown going on from your wrestler's last match, so even if bad luck happens - you can still potentially win as long as everyone else loses in that span. If you suffer a ban for the length of the game you will be disqualified. If you are inactive for 2 days upon winning you will not get first pick and instead get 2 picks.
• A wrestler must be an active participant in a match for it to reset the three-week timer. Lumberjacks, special referees, managers, "enforcers," guest commentators, etc. do NOT count.
• If you win you get your choice of either first pick next season or two picks for the next season.

Sign-ups are allowed until the start of the Monday, November 3 Raw pre-show, and the game (and start of the countdown) will begin on that edition of WWE Raw.

Winning wrestlers must sit out 3 seasons before returning. Bray Wyatt is out for winning season 13. Rusev is out for winning Season 14. John Cena is out for winning Season 15.

I will be participating in the game, but in the interest of fairness, I won't make my pick until at least ten wrestlers have been chosen.

For winning season 15, Savior has chosen Seth Rollins in advance.

We have never included NXT

NXT has never been an issue in the recent seasons because it's not like the episodes are taped months in advance. Even the tapings themselves go through changes- some matches never make it through, others are preponed/postponed and so forth.

Always thought that meant only for WWE wrestlers in NXT specials since it counts as a regular ppv. 3 week rule would already kick them out if they didn't wrestle in time afterwards because of the spacing between the specials.

This is a valid question...
SmackDown and Main Event are recorded in advance, yet count for tipsters. The thing is they're taped after the Raw that falls on the date of the deadline. How I see things is NXT is a WWE brand. Anything recorded before the deadline is null and void. However, allowing NXT that is recorded after it starts changes the whole dynamic if tipsters.

Here's how I see things with NXT being added....

Any pre-recorded episodes of NXT that are set to air after this season begins should not count. This means if they were recorded to have matches for 3 weeks in a row, but they're all pre-taped before tipsters starts, you're 3 week'ed (unless they show up on Raw, SmackDown, etc).

It'll be interesting to see the chemistry and mechanics of this season with NXT really getting into the mainstream of things.
