why did they ever "unite" the smackdown and raw brands... remember when smackDOWN was awesome in 2004, then at PPVs like royal rumble you would have guys fighting each other who never even interacted, or like an inter-brand feud between Brock Lesnar and Goldberg was insane, seems so much better that way

It's hard for me to buy into Reigns beating Lesnar at WM as being the finish to end the PPV so I see no other possibility than Rollins cashing in on Reigns after he wins. Rollins becomes face & Reigns is now a heel.
To me, they could have legitimately saved Reigns' push by having Rollins cash in on Lesnar & win at the Rumble, creating a Lesnar/Reigns/Rollins triple threat. That title match really should have been last. Having Reigns go over Rollins to win at WM could have saved him as a face and present him with a good feud to start his run. |

they really are playing it fast and loose with the "controversial" term. It wasn't a dusty finish, or a someone got eliminated that a ref didn't see. there is no controversy.

I hope they don't position Reigns against the Authority (though it looks like they already have), it's not gonna help with people thinking he "took Bryan's spot".

I have no interest in Cena vs. Rusev. After the Rumble, they sort of have to go that way, but I'd have had Ryback come out tonight and tell Cena to stay out of his unfinished business with Rusev. Cue a match between the two, which could have ended with Rusev attacking both men and setting up a Triple Threat for Fast Lane.
Paige just being announced as Nikki Bella's Fast Lane opponent? They're not even trying with the girls. Have Paige and Natalya wrestle in a #1 Contender's Match and tear it up. Perhaps make it the longest Divas match in WWE history? Give them some sort of accolade. Nattie could challenge at Fast Lane, with Paige backing her up against Brie, leading to people wondering if Paige could be trusted. There's not really any controversy in a kayfabe sense about Reigns winning. Still, I hope Triple H forces Reigns to defend his WrestleMania title shot at Fast Lane. I'd probably do Reigns vs. Triple H himself, but I think they're more likely to do an Elimination Chamber or something. I'm still hoping they give us Lesnar vs. Bryan for the title at Fast Lane. |
I thought they binned the Elimination Chamber PPV because they were struggling to find arenas that could host it? Seems a bit strange if they change the PPV name but retain the gimmick, why not just wait til next year to change it?
