Yeah the way its worded seems like she's not completely retiring from wrestling like most divas in recent past. Maybe a small break to support Punk's UFC ambitions or to regain whatever passion was lost from the past year.

Past year had her dealing with her own injury, the Punk-WWE fallout, and Bellas being successful at getting Total Divas to dominate the division.

It Sucks.

I think she will be back sometime down the road though.

I hear on good authority her armpits and panties smell nice.

As fucked up as this is, I actually giggled at that. Partially because I imagined that Vince and Kevin Dunn would have to be involved in the creative process.

This sucks for the WWE, but once the "Whoa, it's happening" shock wore off, this makes complete sense. She hasn't been...herself since coming back. The life and the passion of her personality hasn't been there, and I don't want to say she's been "phoning it in," but she hasn't had the gravitas that she normally has.

And who can blame her relationship with the WWE deteriorating? The company beat the passion of professional wrestling out of the man she loves. The company, whilst putting her in the position of being a main event-level star at times, has also seemingly dropped the ball with anything she has actively gone out of her way to create for them.

She and her husband probably have lots of money saved. She just returned from injury, but she's probably got some sores left to heal. I can't imagine this is the last we've seen from AJ in professional wrestling, however. I'd be calling her if I were Jeff Jarrett.

Meh. She's outlived her usefulness - and quite frankly WAY overachieved in her career. Lately she's been turning into CM Cunt, so it's probably better to get out now instead of sitting around collecting imaginary grievances. How long before she appears on Colt Cabana's podcast to pretend she isn't doing a shoot interview?

An AJ Lee shoot would be TREMENDOUS. Honestly, if I were Jeff Jarrett and trying to start up Global Force, I'd be trying to get my brand out there by getting some bitter ex-talents to talk about what is wrong with wrestling and making some money off it.

...because that worked so well for TNA.

I don't expect to see her in the ring anymore. Obviously I could be wrong, but I just think "that couples" passion for Pro Wrestling is gone. But, she should go to Shimmer and help out there.

Now a series of "Hi this is me and this is my career" videos from established talents would be a good idea but I'd really try to keep it away from the standard "shoot" attitude.

Either way, I'm gonna miss her in WWE. Black Widow is one of my favorite finishers, and she was better on the mic than most of the dudes. Great talent.
