Happened like two monthes ago at 185. RDA beat Pettis for the 155 title and Joanna Champion beat Carla Esparza for the women's 115 title.
It also happened at UFC 45 where Belfort beat Couture for the LHW title and BJ Penn beat Hughes for the WW title. All fights were undisputed, not interim. |

Awesome card. I'm in a hotel that didn't have FS1 so I missed the prelims but streamed the main card. A few thoughts:
-Stranglehold is a great entrance song but should be for Randy Couture only. Poor form, Benavidas. -Cowboy Cerrone is the most entertaining fighter of all time, maybe. -Weidman deserves respect. It will be interesting to see who he gets next. Jacare would be good, Rockhold would sell more tickets. -DC is a fucking beast. I like Rumble but just listening. To their post fight interviews. DC "Jon Jones, get yr shit together, I'm waiting for you". Rumble "never give up, guys" I'm very happy. Rumble should get Glover next. |

DC did what he had to do but it seems like he takes a lot of hits. Most of those straight on shots he took would have knocked most people out. Feel like he needs to up his striking defense. His giant head of his is only going to be able to take so much.

DC grinded him out which is how he's won every fight. He is a beast and no less of a Champ than Hendicks after the first Lawler fight.

Would rather see Cormier vs Gustaffson. Gustaffson would beat DC because Gustaffson actually has Stamina and if Jones couldn't take Gustaffson down DC can't. So AJ will fight Glover? OSP? Rashad? What's next

Also AJ will win his next 2 fights and will fight for the title around February. I wish I could teach AJ the fundamentals because my cardio and wrestling are my strongest assets. In my 16 fights (16-0) I haven't been taken down nor hit with any serious shots. Longest fight was with Frank Downey in a 2 round affair before I finished him.

Johnson will never be successful until he focuses on 2 things Cardio and Ground Game. Not to mention his terrible wrestling. But Cardio and Ground Game are the big ones. Now you guys might say well Clerk it's easy for you to say since you are great at all aspects of the game but come on guys. I'm 16-0 In my amateur MMA Career. I run a 40 yard dash in 4.1 seconds. I can beat people in every aspect.
