I'm 100% hetero, and even *I* think this is fucking glorious.

I said in the 100,000,000,000.001101 and 1/2 replies thread that this guy is the epitome of what Vince wanted in the 90's with Goldust or Marc Mero. The gimmick itself is campy enough to fall into Rocky Horror territory, and he pulls it off. The "henchmen" are a nice touch. And it doesn't overshadow or overcompensate for what he can do in the ring from bell to bell. Kid can go. Seeing this guy makes me feel like I did when I first saw Husky Harris step into the Bray Wyatt role.

Castle pulls off the gimmick well. Of all the flamboyant bizarre gimmicks today his is my favorite.

Decided against it. Not so much because I respect HHH or not wanting to hurt Mr. Steele's feel bads as much as this guy deserves his own goddamn thread!

He should be the new patron saint of Teh People's Wrestling Westeros.

If the Lesnar gimmick wasn't integral to my identity on here in the midst of TAG TEAM TURMOIL, I'd probably make a switch to The Dalton Castle.

Maybe in 2017 when Tag Team Turmoil is over.

Hadn't seen him at all until I randomly watched an RoH episode a week ago and saw his match against Liger. I was quite impressed.

Apparently he's got an NCAA background? Given that he knows how to play a gimmick, can work, has a decent look -- he'll probably end up in the WWE before too long.

As part of the Authority and member of the Church of Triple H I don't see this happening

He's alright. I think he just stands out in ROH because a lot of the wrestlers there have no personality to speak of.

u don't think he looks kinda feminine? Just the way he acts is kind of weird. Even the guys he was going to face kinda had that "what the fuck" look if you look closely.

Dalton Castle will one day end up <s>in the WWE</s> as WWE Champion.

He is pretty much the "done right" version of the "prototype" gimmick that is Adam Rose. Basically Bray Wyatt to Waylon Mercy.

He has the tools. The question would be if WWE fucks with his gimmick at all after his nearly requisite name change... Dalton is a unique enough name, so that part may work out, but The Boys may be problematic not only for the implied group sex but also, in that they would be two other "mouths to feed", so to speak. If they actually are a compotent tag team and not just roster filler/arm charms/ literal furniture, that would be a big part of the whole presentation being carried over to Titan Towers.

Yea if he went to the WWE he would be totally repackaged and not be the same. Talents in ROH have a lot more creative control over their character than people in WWE. I could see him having a pyscho type gimmick in WWE that is a lot different from his current character. Although WWE could present his current gimmick pretty good I just don't see WWE going along with it. The boys could just be some NXT guys that are training and not on the roster yet but like I said I could see WWE completely changeling his gimmick.

And for all that, this could be a gimmick they give to someone else that is already in WWE or NXT... and then again, they seem to already be swimming in various degrees of psychos.

I also see WWE making the mistake TNA made by making The Boys into girls; cutting out most of the camp gay in one fell hatchet job. Also, remember that whole out of context controversy thing where Al Snow supposedly hated and abused women, which cost him from being able to use Head anymore? Now imagine how bad that would be taken out of context in a social media world and a guy using women as ring steps and chairs in the publicly traded company that is WWE.

been a fan for the last couple of weeks now. I actually have been watching some ROH tv just to see him.

The WWE is getting better and better at letting guys take what works and running with it. They take it to NXT and Vince is sort of like "Well, okay..."
