Fair point, but it's not so much comparing it to an angle from the Attitude Era as it is that they've just done it to fucking death since then.

Good opener to the show. Continues to build up New Day and gives Ambrose and Orton something new to do (each other).

Its been done in sports entertainment since the beginning.

I'm not sure if I love Kofi and Big E beating Ambrose & Orton. They're the Tag Team Champions, so they could have lost here and boosted Ambrose & Orton, who are a new team that could use the build. This seems silly to me.

@CyNick: Exactly. It just smacks of not being creative enough to come up with anything else and really highlights WWE's biggest problem in trying to bring a compelling product to viewers.

I say the same thing about every comic book movie that uses the idea of the vigilante superhero against the evil criminal. Its gets so boring. I hate every movie like that. To prove it, I make sure to get tickets for every opening night, its my way of being complicated.

I'm glad the WWE had Kofi pin Orton clean, given that they're hot young babyfaces on the rise.

Yeah, today's superhero movies could really learn a lot from the Batman movies of the '80s and '90s, and even the 2000s one with Heath Ledger arguably playing the best Joker character of all-time.

Interesting to see all these mainstream publications paying attention to the NXT show. Demonstrates the reach of the WWE Network. Also good to see them putting over the idea of females headlining. And nice pop from the crowd.

Yeah I'm sick and tired of his awesome matches and being the most over guy on the show.

He's a great worker, but he hardly ever takes any time for himself. He NEEDS the upcoming time off. Besides, his U.S. title open challenges are so formulaic...anybody that doesn't see the eventual desperation A.A. in a 20-25 minute match followed by Cena getting the pin is either not a wrestling fan or hasn't watched in quite a while.
