Already confirmed there will be no NX or Mobile game news. Hopefully get some firm release dates for a few games and maybe one surprise? Please?

Oh yeah, as well as the NX like Twilight Princess. Someone who leaked a bunch of Nintendo news like the new Pokemon before the trademark even said it's a launch title and the console is for sure coming this year.

if it wasn't for Best Buy having a really good 2-for-1 sale a while back I would probably cancel my preorder and get it for NX. As it is, I grabbed TPHD + Zelda WiiU for a combined like $70 CAD which is not too shabby

They'll probably let you move it to an NX one anyway. They still get their money on the same day.

A trademark got files today called Monster Hunter Generations. Expect that to be the English name of Monster Hunter X in Japan and probably talked about tomorrow.

What the hell is NX? I have to buy some adaptor thing for the new Zelda game that I have been waiting for since the Wii U came out?

Yeah, NX is the legit codename. People from Nintendo have mentioned it before.

Other than SNES on N3DS, this all known and mostly even out in Japan. Still expect more than just that if if is legit since there is a Japanese one at the same time so has to be at least a couple of announcements even if it's just on the Japan side.

Nah, usually they put it on the graphic that's on the livestream before the show actually starts though. They said 5min early for the Pokemon thing so none got their hopes too high. I'm betting it will be one of the 20-40 minute ones depending on how much shit they have to show.

YouTube is usually smoother, but a little behind. Twitch usually seems to chug, but I don't think they have non-US servers yet.

Still, just found out my TV has a Twitch app, so might try it.

YouTube live stream is pretty good too but yeah it does lag a bit.

In the UK at least there's Earthbound for £8.99 and Mario World on offer for £2.69

I don't own any VC titles on my Wii U, so the prospect of something like Earthbound or DKC2 on my N3DS is very tempting. DKC2 is one of my all-time favs

They come with an expanded pixel mode by default which makes the screen wider but not taller, and a bit blurry.

I think it's purely a matter of size, as you can turn it off for natural, and it's just a little small (I don't have an XL as I'm not Terry Wogan), but exactly the same height.

I think that's an issue with the XL over the 'standard' size in general. The screen is bigger but the resolution is the same

The next Mario will be female, because much like Link, a gender was never established. The mustache was just a hormone imbalance. #JusticeServed

If you've got a New XL, it depends on the screen you got in the lottery too.

On that note, I need to fuck around with my brightness adjustment settings or something. Often times I'll be playing (usually in the dark in bed) and my top screen gets really dark and shit.. super annoying

Nah, it's gotten even weirder if anything. People with Fire Emblem SE Fire Emblem XLs are getting some with IPS bottom screens too and some that are both TN screens.

And yeah, I just turn auto brightness off. It changes far too much and gets really annoying.

The screen thing isn't like how it would stretch and alias DS games on 3DS. It makesnit fatter, which I think might half be just making the display bigger, and half going for a psuedo CRT look
