Huge Story about to Break
twitter.com/JoeMLanza/status/714234169019109376
twitter.com/JoeMLanza/status/714236109132156928 twitter.com/JoeMLanza/status/714236711492911104 I can't really think of anything off the top of my head. |
But is it Yuge? #FeelTheBern
You're so confused.
I guess we could think of people with a lot of enemies... but I can't come up with it.
Pissing 100% Viking would do that
Yeah I don't think the story is about a juicer. I think it's something racial or sexual. Something to tarnish someone's image, steroids in wrestling is news for a like a day but really who cares it's wrestling.
Or you know, maybe he just cares about what he looks like and is willing to put in the time.

HHH's piss, on the other hand... |
Seems like this story might be related to the ESPN-WWE partnership and some bad stuff that happened at FOX Sports in regards to one of their UFC reporters based on recent Observer tweets.
Might even involve the Observer as well since their NXT reporter has hinted the news is really bad while Meltzer is hinting at WWE and/or ESPN making sure nothing bad gets leaked during Mania week. |
what kind of bad? Sex scandal? Sexual assault scandal?
Probably something related to concussions if I had to guess since ESPN did cover the Daniel Bryan retirement story and WWE themselves dealing with big lawsuits about it.
Some stuff Dave Meltzer was tweeting about makes it seem like whatever the story is, ESPN and/or WWE is doing everything possible to ensure it doesn't become public at least for Mania week. <blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-lang="en"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">I don't mind if there's interest, but if you're covering it, you no longer can run from the real news. <a href="https://t.co/R06L4SvzzJ">https://t.co/R06L4SvzzJ</a></p>— Dave Meltzer (@davemeltzerWON) <a href="https://twitter.com/davemeltzerWON/status/714321805482205184">March 28, 2016</a></blockquote> <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script> Earlier he tweeted about FOX Sports firing their UFC reporter since he was reporting on stuff that made UFC look bad and a potential conflict of interest since FOX has a tv deal with UFC. <blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-lang="en"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">So interesting column critical of Fox dropping Ariel because of idea he was reporting stuff they don't want, <a href="https://t.co/K7G0QL4BpZ">https://t.co/K7G0QL4BpZ</a></p>— Dave Meltzer (@davemeltzerWON) <a href="https://twitter.com/davemeltzerWON/status/714319830157889536">March 28, 2016</a></blockquote> <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script> |
I hope we get another Will Smith movie

Sketchy people being sketchy.

I don't see it being concussions, or it least I hope it not. Those guys know the risk involved in wrestling or MMA, you don't want concussions find a different job. Should be in all sports contracts that they won't sue down the line for injuries sustained by performing.
So how long before they break the story (and their word)?
WWE accidentally signed Buck Zumhofe?
Some Indy fag did something stupid and no one will care
A trusted source on the Observer's forums knows what this big thing is about and also why the guy who made the vague announcement quickly wanted nothing to do with the story.
Also same reason why the Observer and nobody else has revealed it yet since nobody wants the massive lawsuit that likely will happen next if it is not confirmed to be true. Quote:
but that doesn't sound like it has anything to do with a concussion?
oh man I love some juicy drama before the grandaddy of emall.
Sounds like a rape.

Cena overcame the odds when a woman said no to him.
He dug down a little too deep
How is this a major story when they can't even confirm if it's legit and are afraid of a lawsuit of it doesn't shake out?
Probably not rape...those accusations get reported and dropped all the time without lawsuit.
See Kane, Patrick......Kane, Evander. Oh my God Corporate Kane raped some one. |
Kane, Demon
Hanso with his usual sterling contribution
Vince raped Wrestlemania
Maybe Eva Marie used to be Steve Marie
This whole thing is a bit odd. Am very curious if it's anything or just rumblings and if it does come out if it'll mean anything at all, or just WWE being super fucking weird as per usual
I wouldn't be surprised if Bryan is related to the news somehow given that he suddenly pulled out of all of his house show appearances and Axxess.
Don't worry guys sports entertainment has some of the most respected journalists in the world. They will surely get to the bottom of it.
Damn CyNick, shouldn't you be off listening to Jim Cornette interviews and podcasts instead of posting on this forum?
It's very typical of the wrestling business for the journalism around it to be reminiscent of knock-and-run at times. Meltzer isn't really guilty, but these guys on the fringes are the worst.

good answer.
Meltzer and Keller are pretty legit. The others, no, just no. Calling Meltzer and Keller illegitimate because they have sources who wish to remain anonymous and/or who may not have all the details to a story is no different than calling Bob Woodward and Carl Bernstein illegitimate journalists.
Of course, that doesn't mean they should be trusted implicitly either. |
Meltzer and Keller have a great track record and are respected within the industry. They can be a bit wankerish (probably more Meltzer, who tends to revel in being in "the know" far more than Keller) but they are very credible. However, as Crippy states, their word should never be considered gospel.
Wrestling in itself is a very trashy business, so 98% of those who report on it make the National Enquirer look like the beacon of reliability. |

So far the three biggest theories going around the net on what this story could be are:
The second one is the story with the most traction at the moment although also has a lot of issues with it being reliable as well. |
The Daniel Bryan one is really sad. :(
Who exactly is making these theories.... just random people guessing on the internet....
Yeah, probably. That's why I've purposely made my "guesses" nonsensical. Feel it is a bit tasteless to genuinely speculate...
Triple H sneezed near Vince and now Shane is being brought back to run NXT.
Quote:
The second one is interesting since while I've never heard of the guy, he's supposedly been having a lot of dirt against him building for a while now. The Bayley one is likely more on how very close those two seem to be which might be fueling the speculation of them becoming a couple soon. The Bryan one is mostly from people speculating something bad is happening with Bryan's health and strained relations between him and the WWE based on recent sheet news. Only other one that would be huge would be something related to concussions or medical stuff like WWE's head doctor. Stuff like that has been openly talked about so it wouldn't make sense for the original guy to want to hide the story or help out the WWE since they are dealing with lawsuits and other potentially bad stuff related to it. |
CITE YOUR SOURCES
NAME NAMES DON'T MAKE ME FIND YOU |
The Bryan one actually makes sense, so I hope it is just made up by people. But that seems to go against the "some won't think it's a big deal" line I'm paraphrasing from the original guy. That's why, if I were going to genuinely try and decode what the guy was saying, is that it's a sex act that throws a lot of shit on the company trying to have a squeaky clean image.
Cena doing a Hugh Grant or something. |
The Bayley/Balor stuff doesn't really matter, does it? I mean, Emma had a boyfriend she met in development, got released and then ended up with Zack Ryder. I guess the idea of Bayley's sex life getting attention at all is something the WWE would want to avoid with her "little girls' role model" thing, but she can't be expected to remain legitimately celibate while working for the company. And who wouldn't fuck Finn Balor? That's to be expected.
I honestly hope it's not the Becky Lynch porn thing I jokingly suggested earlier. I'll be honest: Some sort of compromising footage of one of the girls they are trying to build is the first thing I thought of. If one of them filmed something to make ends meet whilst trying to become an actress at an earlier stage in their life, then the company's hands would probably be sort of tied with their public policy against other former female talent.
I'm honestly surprised that they've still got Lana knowing that her tits appeared in Banshee. |
Maybe the John Laurinaitis/Bella hot tub story got told at Johnny Ace's wedding to their mother?
Sexual harnessing sounds like a super power.

I've been sexually harnessing myself for years. Trust me, it's not.
