WWE Superstar Adam Rose (Raymond Leppan) was arrested this morning at 1:30am by the Hillsborough County Sheriffs in Florida and charged with tampering with a witness, and domestic battery and violence. http://wrestlinginc.com/wi/news/2016...-this-morning/ |
I hope his kids don't google him in the future.
My thoughts exactly
Is a doctor's note going to get him out of this one?
People are going to treat him like a social outcast now.
so glad they kept him on the roster instead of Sandow!
He is acting like a lemon.
He'll be fired by the end of the week.
better than going all Oscar Pistorius (his fellow countryman)....looks like he's not taking his suspension well and just locked himself into being future endeavored by the weekend....
Roid rage
Timing is everything
What in the hell....
Probably won't make it until end of business day
does he have a doctors note
Someone just became Austin's new favorite.
Sounds like he put his hands on his wife's face and began squeezing her head and then threw her phone across the room. He is still in jail as of this moment.
Adhd acting up

Terrible news.

Uh-uhuhuh-uh ohhhhhhhhhhhh.
Roman Reigns would never super punch his domestic.
He had such a huge amount of goodwill off the back of that special. Not so much now.

Even if he was in the right with the suspension stuff, this likely lost whatever support he had left in the WWE. Doesn't help domestic violence itself has become a big public issue recently so WWE has to give him something really harsh or else they'd have their own bad PR to deal with. |

A WWE rep told the ProWrestlingSheet.com:
“WWE has zero tolerance for matters involving domestic violence, and per our policy, Raymond Leppan has been suspended indefinitely following his arrest.” |
Adam Rose put his wife in the Iron Claw
So long and thanks for all the fish
According to court records, Rose is facing up to 5 years in prison if convicted since he got hit with a 3rd degree felony for charges.
The suspension the WWE gave to Rose was under their "morals clause" for talent contracts. |
What an emotional trainwreck of a man. I pity him, and even feel sorry for him, but if you do the crime, you must do the time.

Well he's done
Just think had this been the Attitude Era they would've tried to make his domestic violence issue a storyline. |

Well, that's that.
Sad
Sandow booked solid for years for Indy shows and signings. Adam Rose just getting booked by police.
Sandow still wins. |
The dude will have to be fired if found guilty. They have this huge anti bullying thing going on and as per policy domestic violence is zero policy. He isnt a big star so they will lay down the hammer.
"But for now we'll just suspend him indefinitely! THAT'LL LEARN 'IM!"
:wtf:
This is a terrible situation. Adam made a very good impression via the ESPN special. Hopefully his family doesn't suffer.

Apparently Rose had another domestic violence incident earlier this year that didn't become public until very recently. Happened in March and got revealed by the judge in the current case.
Judge wanted to issue a restraining order against Rose partially due to that reason but his wife pleaded for it to not happen because of their special needs child who needs care by both parents. Same reason why his bond was very low compared to what the usual amount might be in Florida for similar cases. Quote:

Hey @Smeat
ProWrestlingSheet.com was looking for writers to write news articles (it's one of the newer dirt sheets, they broke the Adam Rose story). You seem like you would be a good wrestling reporter so just letting you know about it. :) |

And that's not to say I would be against his firing as he is already in the bad books. But maybe he has some goodwill within the company and they are genuinely worried about his situation. While his charges are of a serious nature and deserve to be treated as such, there is nothing wrong with proceeding with caution until the whole mess is cleared up. Keep in mind this is somebody's livelihood. Not only that, but as his wife pointed out, they have a son with special needs, so charges or not, maybe the wwe is concerned about his family who would certainly bare the brunt of dad being out of a job
In saying that, his release would come as no surprise to anyone. |

That being said, I have no problem with institutions being extremely cautious in scenarios like these. More people should be much less quick to judge than they are. After all, you're innocent until proven guilty, and to me there's not much worse than deciding someone is guilty prior to conviction/confession, all the facts emerge, etc. Given that he's been charged though, there's absolutely nothing wrong with a suspension in this case. |

Oh for sure. I just meant more how Damn inator was like "OMG WHAT FUCKING ASSHOLES FOR NOT IMMEDIATELY FIRING HIM" and it's like the guy hasn't even been proven guilty, so what's wrong with them allowing his due process in court before they make the final decision. Not like he's going to be on t.v.
I sincerely hope Adam Rose gets the help he needs. Man, this seems like a really tough spot for him. Road Dogg went on Twitter by the way and basically said his career is done.
I watched the video of the court proceedings, man I feel for the family as a whole. Hope he can turn his life around from this and move on to better things.
So he's going to be counseled by his....pastor?(as opposed to an actual qualified doctor)

If WWE were smart, which they ought to be for a company that actually briefly mentioned on a recent SD! (commentator said it) that for the most part they're remaining PG with a few moments in each show that might be considered "TV-14", and as such trying to by and large remain a family oriented product, at least in the short term, that they'd have no problem firing any male superstar even ACCUSED of something as heinous as assaulting a woman. |
Quote:
Of course the allegations while not yet proven, are nonetheless very serious, and of course no one could disagree that if Rose is found guilty in court that he absolutely should be let go. |
This is horrible.
And yet Emma was briefly released over an iPhone case.

Remember when Heath Slater was arrested for a domestic and he ended up not going to jail or anything. Due process.
Also pretty sure WWE should keep B.G. off Twitter.

It was only a matter of time.
Hopefully he gets his life together.
Shocking news
leave the memories alone
Adam Rose was single-handedly responsible for springboarding the careers of legends such as Simon Gotch and Braun Strowman via the Rosebuds. What a revolutionary performer.
And BECKY LYNCH and Alexa Bliss
His singles theme was one of the better ones of NXT call-ups in recent years too...love his entrance in 2K16 also.

Does this mean Leo Kruger was released as well?
