WHAT'S NEXT FOR KANE?

Last week's Monday Night RAW was a memorable one for Kane. The Big Red Monster defeated Val Venis in singles competition, won a Battle Royal to become the No. 1 Contender for the World Heavyweight Championship at Bad Blood and received an answer of "yes" from Lita to a question he posed several weeks ago. With Kane in top form after last week's success, what is next for him as he prepares for his match at Bad Blood? Also, will his question to Lita be revealed? Find out on RAW.


Speaking of the Battle Royal, Kane's victory was a result of the suspended Shawn Michaels gaining a measure of payback from Triple H. When the final two were Triple H and Kane, HBK appeared out of nowhere to eliminate The Game and give Kane a trip to Bad Blood. The Game was enraged as RAW came to an end, and it is expected that he will be in a bad way this coming week on RAW. What will his reaction be? Find out on RAW.

So I'm here for my on-again/off-again recap show. I've been anxious to do Raw more and more now that it hasn't been completely sucking so I can show the naysayers that I do say nice things. :p

Triple H and those three other guys are bitching out Eric Bischoff about Triple H's loss last week. He demands reinstatement for Shawn Michaels but Eric is already 3 steps ahead of him and agreed to a match that Shawn requested. Triple H cuts him off an promises to beat up Shawn the second he arrives. He then bitches out those three other guys asking where they were. Uh, they got eliminated and they didn't expect Michaels to show up??? Jesus, use common sense.

I will go ahead and make a prediction about tonight:

At least two commercial breaks in the main event

Yeah, nobody can stopit now...

I liked the setup with the whole "Where were you guys last week?"

I think it's funny that this is the first time they've talked about it in 7 days. :D

DISCUSSION: Is the Kane/Benoit match happening because it would be harder for Hunter and HBK to steal the show from the more obvious Benoit/Jericho match?

I think Benoit could outshine HHH/HBK in a match with the turnbuckle.

It's a shame Eddie's working a program with him.

Look at that, Triple H is a litter bug.

Opening Match-Edge vs. Ric Flair w/Randy Orton: Looks like Edge is going to be the one to get the Intercontinental Title match at the PPV seeing as Orton is seconding Flair. Lock up and Flair goes down. Hammerlock reversal sequence as Flair gets to the ropes. Edge gets chopped down but fights out of the corner. Back body drop off an Irish whip and Flair gets clotheslined to the outside. Scoop slam on the outside and Flair tries to back off. Edge is having none of it and he tries the 10 punch. Flair gets clotheslined down and Edge stops to take care of Orton. Thumb to the eye from Flair to turn the tide. Edge gets beaten down in the corner for a bit leading to a snap mare and a knee drop. Hey, I love Flair and all but really, it's a 55 year old dominating a guy not even 30 so it's hard to take the match seriously. Edge makes the big comeback with some clotheslines. JR notes Edge is a step quicker. Just a STEP??? Thumb to the eye again to slow down Edge's offense. Flair comes off the top but gets sort of speared for a close 2. Edge tries a top rope move but gets hung up by Orton. Two count off of that. Shelton Benjamin in to deal with Orton as Flair tries the figure four but Edge counters and Edge takes advantage and spears Flair for the win. Hmm, maybe Edge won't be the only contender. Another 5 minutes would've done them good. *1/2

Meanwhile, Triple H and Batista takeover guard duty for the arena. Now THAT would make for a funny cop show.

P.S. Is Chris Benoit alive? All I can remember is that Triple H/Shawn Michaels feud PART 10, 234, 556, 101 may possibly come to a conclusion at Bad Blood.
