Shane McMahon's children are revealed as joint Smackdown GMs and their appearances are broadcast via satellite feed from Chuck E Cheese, McDonalds' playppace, and inside a circular clothes rack while their mom shops for clothes.

Jeff Jarret is named Raw GM but 6 months from now we discover it was actually Road Dogg making the decisions.

Innovator 07-18-2016 02:58 PM

Triple H for RAW, D Bryan for Smackdown, then Vince goes "LOL SWITCH"

XL 07-18-2016 03:24 PM

Inno knows.

Evil Vito 07-18-2016 03:29 PM

The last Raw in HISTORY to have every superstar on the roster, until WrestleMania comes and they briefly ignore it.

Sepholio 07-18-2016 03:30 PM

Yeah I could see that. Vince should come out wearing a top hat with a card stuck into the band on the front and yell "CHANGE PLACES"!

And then HHH becomes the NXT version of Paul E. and becomes this guy:

That would be a cool twist

I think they spoiled the SD GM already in an announcement title that they've since pulled.

SPOILER: show
The Yes! Movement comes to Smackdown Live!

All I know is that I got tickets to Smackdown next month and I don't wanna see John Cena. Stay on Raw.

Odds on Michael Cole/JBL making a very forced "out of touch" sounding Pokemon Go reference on commentary tonight?

Ruien 07-18-2016 07:45 PM

Hope this is better than Shane being announced as the Smackdown head guy last week.

Ruien 07-18-2016 07:46 PM

Still upset at how much they blew that chance to put some fresh air into WWE.

Dark One 07-18-2016 08:02 PM

Took an Oxy to brace for disappointment, but let's see what happens.

Michael Cole explaining the Draft count: #1

Emperor Smeat 07-18-2016 08:03 PM

Rule #3 about tag teams really feels like at least one team is getting broken up or else they wouldn't put that last line in it.

Lucha Dragons already pre-broke up according to Vito's post in the Brand Split thread so not counting them.

Heisenberg 07-18-2016 08:04 PM

How does everyone w/o cable/satellite watch RAW,,, I kicked DirecTV to the curb and just want it on in the background

Poit 07-18-2016 08:05 PM

That ain't cool Shane.

If I cut Comcast, I'd just use my dad's email credentials to watch on their online portal. That's basically what I'm doing now since I'm on the west coast and would have to watch it three hours later otherwise.

The thing is I can't understand why they'd even have that rule. What purpose would it serve to only want one member of a team when you can get an extra wrestler for free?

I can't even see a team on the roster where the rule would make sense. MAYBE taking Cass on his own but breaking them up so early would be so stupid, and doing that would totally bury Enzo.

Dark One 07-18-2016 08:05 PM

Is it my new TV or is Shane extra orange?

Poit 07-18-2016 08:06 PM

Dark One 07-18-2016 08:06 PM

Good thing they copyrighted lady balls.

The real winners staring next week? The fans not having to go through this stupid brother sister rivalry going on.

Droford 07-18-2016 08:06 PM

Cruiserweights on RAW huh

Evil Vito 07-18-2016 08:06 PM

Whoa, cruiserweights on Raw

Mercenary 07-18-2016 08:06 PM

WWE total count: 2

Droford 07-18-2016 08:07 PM

Commish foley!!!!!!!!!!!!!! god yes!!!!!!!!!!!

Emperor Smeat 07-18-2016 08:08 PM

2 face authority figures is actualy a very interesting change of pace. I've grown tired of the heel authority figure tropes.

Dark One 07-18-2016 08:13 PM

The only person that could have been the Raw GM and beat Bryan's pop would probably be CM Punk riding on the shoulders of Steve Austin.

Cruiserweight on RAW
Bryan on Smackdown

They've already managed to fuck this up

"Daniel Bryan."
"God damn it."

Smackdown #1 pick sami zayn

Dark One 07-18-2016 08:18 PM

Smackdown will not draft any goddamn bears.

Emperor Smeat 07-18-2016 08:18 PM

Did Steoh just forget her new GM was arguably one of the biggest underdogs when he wrestled.

Evil Vito 07-18-2016 08:19 PM

From a purely selfish standpoint, I wanted everybody I liked to go to SmackDown so I could just stop watching Raw altogether. But Foley and the Cruiserweights are a very promising start.

I think that's the reason they did that as opposed to doing the obvious HHH thing.

While Steph's obviously being positioned as an obnoxious heel type, they can't load up one show with fan favorite/smark favorite stuff and have the other run by despot douchebags across the board.

Then we'd have North Korea and South Korea.

KIRA 07-18-2016 08:20 PM

I actually love the easy flow back and forth between Shane ans Steph

I feel like they are used to taking shots at each other

Droford 07-18-2016 08:21 PM

Smackdown should draft all the cruiserweight to keep RAW from having any for their division

ClockShot 07-18-2016 08:21 PM

Just arrived.

The hell is Foley doing on Raw? I thought Triple H would be running things. Unless the work has piled him. Whatever.

ClockShot 07-18-2016 08:22 PM

Totally think they should do the draft Press Your Luck style.

"No jobber, no jobber. C'mon superstar, and...............STOP"

STOP.............AT VIKTOR! *insert whammy sound here*

Well given there are 32 dudes participating in a WWE-sponsored tournament right now I'm pretty sure there's gonna be some of them jumping straight to Raw.

I agree, not big on the picks either. I'm fine with DB but Raw could have got someone better than Foley in my opinion. Cruiserweight title should be on Smackdown where it has history. No way Smackdown even has a chance to top Raw. 1st pick, more picks, and the Cruiserweight title all for Raw.

As promising as the GMs may seem (to some), pro wrestling is still not keeping afloat. I've seen a lot of good segments lately, but I still think they need to solidify it as a more adult-oriented show. To take the successful attitude days down to a child-friendly format is like taking Reservoir Dogs and making a Disney cartoon adaptation of it.

Dark One 07-18-2016 08:37 PM

It'll be interesting to see the result of the title match tonight. I can't see a reason why Raw wouldn't draft the champion with the first pick, so I assume if Ambrose wins, he's going to Raw. If he loses, I'd guess they've decided they want him on Smackdown, and they realized they couldn't come up with a plausible explanation as to why the Raw GM wouldn't draft the fucking world champion right out of the gates.

DAMN iNATOR 07-18-2016 08:38 PM

Definitely interested to see who the NXT 6 will be who will be drafted. I think Finn, Bayley and Nakamura are all safe bets.

Ambrose retains via some kind of convoluted shenanigans.

Not sure about Nakamura, given his title program with Joe coming up, and I suspect they may want to get him a bit more comfortable with the WWE machine and more regular English promos first.

There was an NXT "curtain call" a few days ago with Finn, American Alpha, Bayley, and Nakamura through.

Dark One 07-18-2016 08:40 PM

For the love of god Bryan, don't draft them.
