I don't think I could be any less excited about Bill Goldberg.

He's only 49. Well, until December. Then he is 50.

I'd honestly be more excited about the dude that played Goldberg in The Mighty Ducks.

They should bring in a whole Goldberg stable including Bill, Whoopi, Adam, and they guy who invented those machines that continuously push the balls through those different obstacles.

I love Lesnar and him destroying mortals but Goldberg at 49 years old is such a waste of time. Obviously Lesnar is getting revenge on his loss at WM, which by the way was a terrible match. Goldberg has never really been a good/decent/average wrestler. He has always been a 5 minute brawler with two big moves and intensity, that is it. How could he possibly been taken seriously at this stage of the game?
If anything, this should have happened when Lesnar first returned a few years ago, now there is no point and it will be a terrible match. I don't see Goldberg taking a lot of suplexes so is this going to be some kind of feux mma match?

yeah, Goldberg has a cool entrance and is probably better at beating jobbers than anyone in the last 20 years...but...Goldberg vs Lesnar was easily one of the worst WM matches ever.

Goldberg vs Lesnar II would be like making a sequel to Independence Day without Will Smith.

In the interest of optimism, The Undertaker and Lesnar had a pretty crap WM match, but their rematch was pretty tight. Maybe something similar could happen. Probably not. But it could.

Guys this match will happen at Survivor Series, not WrestleMania.

I'd love to see Goldberg spear every useless fuck on Raw with Jericho being the exception.

Maybe the WWE will find a way to make it interesting but not feeling the idea of Lesnar-Goldberg II. Seems like a big waste for both guys and have more to lose than gain from it. Even worse if this just ends up being a setup for the rumored 4-way match (Taker, Sting, Goldberg, Lesnar) or Goldberg vs Taker at Mania.

Fatal 4-way seems random and like "Hey, look Taker in the same ring as Goldberg and Sting"...I though Sting was 100% DONE.

If I remember, the idea about a possible Fatal Fourway started to float around the same time as news about Goldberg being involved with WWE 2k17 popped up. When Goldberg signed a contract for WWE 2k17, it was just with 2K Games and not an actual WWE deal. Once WWE got interested, it became an actual WWE deal which is why he's facing Lesnar now.

Goldberg vs Taker at Mania is more recent and started around the same time rumors of Lesnar vs Shane being considered as a possible Mania match and/or as a possible backup plan if Cena-Taker doesn't happen.

Will not be watching LIVE, but I hope the fans chant FEED ME MORE @ Goldberg

None of that sounds good. Maybe if Cena/Taker was a career v. career thing. Would have been good if the streak will still alive, but that wad is blown.

There was a rumor recently about the WWE considering the idea of allowing the winning brand to pick and chose a few wrestlers from the losing brand as part of a trade swap.
