It's amazing I actually cared about that opening promo. Don't know the last time I was like, 'Hell ya, bring on the next guy to the promo' for Raw.

Faster pace, better creative guy, matches are better.

Raw can go 20 minutes of straight up talk before it gets going. Smackdown just took about 15+ minutes and we got a main event caliber match to open the show.

Should have given the stipulation that whoever gets pinned will start the EC match.

Yeup Smackdown has been really good with pacing stuff ever since the Brand Split started. Also not having an over-run means they have to be tighter with the show's flow.

Meanwhile RAW flat out doesn't take advantage of their 3rd hour with the amount of waste/filler per week. Even before the 3 hour era that was a big problem with the show.
