Was anyone rooting for Strong to win the #1 contender match after they did those video packages for him?

I get the feeling Itami wins the belt tonight... hopefully Asuka also retains...two Asian superstars as top competitors in NXT would = MIND BLOWN.

A bit although wouldn't be surprised if he becomes Roode's next big feud assuming Itami doesn't win.

Debut episode of the UK show was pretty funny for how bad the WWE green screened JR and Nigel for it at times.

Smiley green shirt fan spotted..... sitting in the aisle instead of front and centre like usual........

Putting UK stuff on NXT is pretty much what the WWE should have done for the Cruiser guys before 205 Live was ready.

The way they handled the early months on RAW really damaged the division.

Was good overall. Strong pretty much did what Tye Dillinger couldn't do and beat Young and Sanity at a Takeover.

Crowd was really hot for it as well.

Was ok... not worth watching the entire thing... should just watch the last minute or w/e if anything

Him losing two of his biggest moves because of Punk (GTS) and Bryan at the time hurt him a lot. Then he got hurt relatively quickly from his debut.

Same for his return since by then others eclipsed him as bigger names in NXT.

Well for me his completely being overshadowed started with them fucking up by putting him with Finn Balor

Yeup that didn't help him. By the time he breaks away from Finn and starts his own rise, he got injured shortly afterwards. Being NXT's rep in Mania's Andre Battle Royale was pretty much his only big highlight by then.

He's a slower paced guy....almost Orton paced sometimes so I get what you're saying. I think you need to give Roode more credit though @ Triple A
