House of Horrors match clearly stole from the Vampiro vs The Demon graveyard match at Bash at The Beach.

Bash at the Beach 2000 is not that bad of a ppv to be honest. Nothing amazing, but it's decent.

Pretty amazing how many hookers are in the front row at this Bash at the Beach ppv.

One episode. It's not pretty good though.

They did the same match for "No Holds Barred" in a blue steel cage. I remember as a kid my parents bought "No Holds Barred The Movie & The Match" on PPV.

Loved the Zeus character. He would absolutely wreck Hogan in some matches. He was also the first one I remember no-selling a chair shot and I remember thinking he was unstoppable.

Watched a few of the ones that were already there a year ago. It was fairly terrible.

Saw Wildman Sal Baloma make arts and crafts out of popsicle sticks while the heels were making fun of him. Was the best scene of the stuff other than Dr. D at his house badmouthing his wife and kids.

This Tuesday In Texas starts with a classic matchup between Brett Hart and Skinner for the IC belt.

The shit Jake the Snake does in this PPV and then the promo afterward, makes anything Attitude Era look like kiddy games.

I started watching Road Wild '97 last night. Horrible crowd/atmosphere with all those bikers.


Harlem/Heat and Bagwell/Norton was ok. Mysterio/Konnan was dire.

Apparently WCW Saturday night was the longest running wrestling program on television going from 1971 to 2000.

I'd love to see them add WCW Saturday Night.

Of course I'd also love to see them add Sunday Night Heat, especially the pre-PPV episodes. Some of those episodes were really good at hyping the PPVs themselves.

Watching the WCW super cards for a bit now. Im into 95. Before hogan arrifed in mid 94 the card was filled with guys who could work top to bottom. Once hogan hit the card becomes littered with his friends. Nasty boys, beefcake, tenta etc. Quickly becomes 88-92ish wwf.

Emma looks a little uglier in this NXT PPV. She also may have a herpie on her lip. And Paige is defending the NXT womans belt . The ref held it up and you can see the Maddox come in the creases of the lettering.

Watched the 2nd Monday Nitro. Scott Norton chucking Macho Man all around was the goods

Houston house show from 1986. Paul Orndorff is the fucking man.

Orndorff between 84 and 86 is one of the best heels in wrestling, especially after his turn on Hogan in mid 86. My God was he good.

Even his face run between Mania 1 and summer 86 was great. Nuclear face heat against Piper, Orton, and Heenan.

Watched the Sept 1998 Nitro where Flair returned. Maybe the best Nitro I've ever seen...except for the British Bulldog vs Barbarian match which is one of thr worst matches I've ever seen and it's all on the Bulldog. He looked ridiculously high on something and was blowing spots and taking shitty bumps all match. I tried to find it on youtube but couldnt

Watching World War 3 96. Rey and Ultimo had the best match I've seen in about a month. Total classic.

As a youth watching WCW, it seemed like Meng would lose like 90% of the time, but he always seemed like such a legit badass (I guess because he was) and a credible threat.

I loved the Faces of Fear. I was a big Barbarian fan back in the day (love the Kick of Fear/Big Boot as a finisher). I remember Meng getting a push in like mid to late 98 after he went solo, but yeah he didn't win too often.

Oh and everyone watch that damn match. It's great and like a couple minutes long.

Watching an awesome 1985 card from Philadelphia. Terry Funk vs JYD, Tito vs Muraco for the IC title.

I love how every black wrestler has a thick skull in the 80's, which brings me to my question. In the 80's, which type of wrestler had a harder skull: Black wrestlers or Samoans?

So after Funk vs JYD, we are treated to Moondog Spot and Iron Mike Sharpe vs Hillbilly Jim and Cousin Junior lol. Spot and Sharpe are a dream team for me. Love both of them. This should be awful though. The Hillbillies are crazy over.

Matches earlier were Tony Garea over Dave Barbie in a bad match, Pedro Morales over Tiger Cheung Lee, Womens Champion Wendy Richter over the Spider Lady and David Sammartino over Steve Lombardi.

This match has been way better than it should be considering it's the Hillbillies.

Hillbilly Jim just knocked out Mike Sharpe with his own loaded forearm for the win lol. Pretty good match.

Main event: Bruno Sammartino and Paul Orndorff vs Roddy Piper and Cowboy Bob Orton in a Steel Cage Match!!! This is going to be awesome.
