I think people were quiet because they wanted to hear what he was saying.... but not a great reason to save KO.

Shouldn't need to spend the bulk of a promo explaining your actions. Exposition is like a number 1 no-no for good t.v. The build should have told the story but instead they just lazily did a "shock" heel turn.

Kevin Owens cut a promo... Sami Zayn recited the scripted reason of why he turned on Shane.

Watch them wait til theyve killed ALL of Nakamuras HYPE and momentum to give him the belt when no one gives a shit I'll care but general audience wont

Knowing that there's going to be a commercial during every match conditions me to not care or pay attention to the beginning (and tbh most) of a match at all due to knowing that absolutely nothing important or interesting is going to happen

That's not rlly his fault though... And also people were waiting for him to "explain his actions" in this promo, so I think it was fine (by "WWE writing standards") imo

I dunno, it was kinda weird. Sami started off saying that it all started with KO powerbombing him a couple weeks ago. Then he explained how it kinda all started back when Shane McMahon said he cared, but didn't, and then blew him off when he tried to give him advice, before claiming it was just spur of the moment because he didn't want KO to die.

The promo really was all over the place.

IMO you need to be able to see the seeds of any heel turn for it to make sense. Shock heel turns just don't really do it for me.

I turned the show off after that Sami promo...and it doesn't sound like I've missed much.

I don't think thats possible they can only do the "one fall " thing under cirtain circumstances the WHAT chant found its way into EVERYTHING
