SMACKDOWN & 205 Live 07/11/17 SPOILERS
AND NEWWWWWWWWWW WWE CHAMPION AJ STYLES
So, you think Jinder is going to be popped or working with an injury? |
Oh. also Kofi beat Sami for some fucking reason, Becky beat Ellsworth in an actual match then Carmella turned on Ellsworth, Sin Cara wasn't injured that bad despite how it looked and will face Baron next wee for the US belt.
Orton beat Rusev because of course he fucking did.
Jinder has a shoulder injury. That was known a month ago. Why they waited til now is beyond me. They could have just had Brock destroy him and kayfabe that as the excuse. Now they have another ppv main event changed the week before the event with little build to it aside from "hey Lesnar vs Styles might be cool"
This is the greatest day in the history of WWE in 2017 so far.
I was actually liking Jinder. By not following through with Brock vs Jinder they've basically killed off a main event and wasted the last 5+ months.

AJ vs Brock is 10x more interesting to me than Jinder vs anyone tbh.
They better have put the belt on AJ after robbing us of Shield/Usos last night.

I bet there's shenanigans. |
Oh shit, I was just reminded of that India tour poster for December that listed Jinder as a two time champion.
They might just be doing this to protect Jinder from Brock. |
205 live
The show started with Enzo Amore presenting ‘The Zo Show’ with six UK wrestlers. He introduced each one, it ended with Tyler Bate knocking him out of the ring. Tyler Bate vs Enzo Amore was set for later in the show. 1. Kalisto beat Jack Gallagher. 2. Cedric Alexander and Mark Andrews beat James Drake and Joseph Conners. 3. Enzo beat Tyler Bate |

ENZO PINNED TYLER BATE CLEAN IN THE MIDDLE
lmao. This company. |

Wow. Styles wins back the belt. I'll stay up for this.
But I am curious to the last minute switch unless Vince/Creative finally realized that Jinder ran his course longer than he should have AND Jinder vs. Brock wouldn't draw. |

NOOOOOO our stone 6 pack savior is hurt
Very hyped for Becky Lynch vs. James Ellsworth..... wish they weren't giving it away on a random Smackdown.....
Sami dances like a fool
Shouldn't this thread be called "SMACKDOWN & 205 Pre-Taped 11/07/17 SPOILERS"?
Wanna check this Damnation show out. But I have zero idea what it's about.

 at New Day celebrating a bit on the outside while Owens beat up Kofi after the match.
That might have been Jinder's best promo as champion which isn't saying much considering how terrible his previous promos usually were.
HARPERLINA AND ROWANLINA COMING SOON
Happy Rusev Day, guys
(But probably not for long) |
What a very unmerry Rusev Day
UGH @ boring ass Orton qualifying...:nono:
Orton already qualified..... was already on the team
 Becky Lynch

It's over. It's finally fucking over. I am weeping tears of joy.
"Becky's Going to Kill You" chants don't seem very PG
I want to suck runny diarrhea from Becky Lynches butt with a straw.
Brock wouldn't want to sell for Jinder Mahal. They've also never done a WWE Title change in the UK. Jinder might get the belt back for or in India, but for now it is actually fucking over.
OK, we get it, Manchester, you love that song.

I wonder if Ellsworth heavily taped his package down to avoid getting a visible boner while rassling Becky Lynch
THE BEST WRESTLER ON THE PLANET IS THE WWE CHAMPION! Doesn't that feel like a good truth to know? Doesn't it just feel right?
Ellsworth-Becky ended being a lot better than I was expecting.
It lived up to the hype
Tag title match was pretty meh.
Also ouch at the Jey Uso's knee. |
Luke Harper
Wow I bet owenbrown cries at the end of tonight's episode since he's Hindu religion.
Jinder Mahal is Sikh.
I am sikh of watching him wrestle.
Guru Reigns
I was once offered the role of a Great Sikh but had to turn it down to do Silence of the Lambs. A rather good call, I must say.
really not looking forward to AJ/Brock. They're going to fuck it up so bad
Charlotte most likely winning the title next week..... but I wonder if they give Sin Cara the title too..... so we don't get that heel vs heel match either.......
Yeah
Uh Uh Uh |
Time is running out for the WWE Champion.
Trust me, I should know. |
I have my naughty panties on.
All the socks showing up for this Smackdown
Mahal looks like a million bucks
Too bad he is terrible every other way |

Also helped it was a really short promo and didn't drag on like most of his other ones as champion. |
AJ can make any wrestler look good..probably not Brock though
Styles sells the Khallas the best out of everyone Jinder has done the move to.
Prob the best Jinder Mahal match I have seen
"Thank goodness" at WWE realizing that no one wanted to see Brock Lesnar vs. Jinder Mahal |
AJ Styles is probably the best treated non-home grown talent..... 2nd was probably Goldberg
I wonder if Brock said " fuck this, i'm not wrestling Jinder fucking Mahal ".

That's because Jinder isn't very good.
Also, promos are not supposed to bury people.
Wow did expect that. Hopefully it stays like this and we get AJ vs Brock.
My head was telling me they'd do the title change, but my gut was that I was overthinking it (if that makes sense). I mean, it's hard to call just what they're going to do next. But ever since it became very apparent that Mahal was not helping in India, it didn't really make sense to send him in as the champion. But they have known this for the longest time and never did anything about it. I suppose the only people he really beat were Orton and Nakamura.

I mean, I'd laugh. |

Jinder Mahal has been wrestling for 15 fucking years. Even Mark Henry was good after that long.
I have to say Noid. I watched Jinder v AJ and Jinder was brutal. So clunky. Maybe cuz of his injury but damn. He can barely move.
He's also been very clunky. The injury probably doesn't help matters, but he's always had this very staggered way of getting around the ring. He looks amazing, but it's less scary when you don't believe he's got any acumen behind it.
Jinders a big toughy.
Thank fuck that's over. Let's hope it stays this way for a while and Jinder chases the US Title.
But I thought Metlzer said Jinder vs Cena was the mania match?
;)
Meltzer sheep,,,,,,,,
Cena is the last member of team SD because he has NO LOYALTY.
I guess he can't be the referee then
John Cena vs Braun Stroman
Irresistible force vs Immovable Object II |
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-lang="en"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">Congrats to my friend John Cena who qualified for the survivor series fair and square...... go get them TIGER</p>— Rusev (@RusevBUL) <a href="https://twitter.com/RusevBUL/status/928279470175375362?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">November 8, 2017</a></blockquote> <script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
Orton is now the youngest person on Team SD
He's 37 |
Juicy Jinder is saying he's not injured or violated wellness.
Seems really fucking weird to randomly announce a tirle match with less than a week of build and have it happen on a taped international episode. |

The title change would have been so much better if the WWE didn't plaster spoilers all over the internet.
They spoiled their own main event by saying "Breaking news: New champion crowned at WWE SmackDown Live in U.K. (CAUTION: SPOILER)", so you're watching SmackDown and when the WWE Championship match begins and you've yet to see a title change, you just know what the outcome of that match is going to be. |
Also, I get the feeling that Mahal will regain the title after Survivor Series and that the title change was done to boost ticket sales or network subscriptions for Survivor Series by offering Lesnar vs Styles instead of Lesnar vs Mahal.
Tbf, is it a bad story to have Styles “hang with” Brock for a while before losing, and then Jinder “picking the bones” of a beaten up AJ afterwards?
I mean, obviously it’s “bad” if it results in Jinder regaining the title, but it sits pretty well with a Chicken shit heels tactics. |
Quote:
The only guy that should beat Brock at this point is Roman Reigns at Mania. If Roman Reigns is your 'guy' moving forward, then the WWE needs to keep Brock as strong as possible so that the job is more meaningful. |
with all these sudden changes in mind WWE is having maybe they'll finally decide to quit shoving Roman Reigns down our throats against our will.
So if John Cena ends up being the sole survivor at Survivor Series, does that mean the winner of the battle for supremacy between Raw and Smackdown is "Free Agency"?
Smackdown managed to gain back all the viewers lost from last week's massive drop.
Quote:
Also something happened with Owens and Sami that both got sent home from the rest of the European tour. |
Quote:
They might go back to Jinder after Survivor Series, because this company is stubborn and will do whatever the hell they like, but I just can't see that being the reason. I think it's more likely they wanted to do something to pop a UK show so that they have something to show ITV and say "See? See? We're cool." The Jinder thing also wasn't working. I can't remember where I've posted this and where I haven't, haha. But yeah, Jinder was not attracting Indian fans, and the India shows still haven't sold out (at least the WWE website still lets you buy tickets for almost every section). It could just be that Vince doesn't want to look like a fool when photos emerge of things like this: https://blogs-images.forbes.com/alfr....jpg?width=960 Especially after they go to India with an Indian WWE Champion. Triple H was also bizarrely euphemistic when talking about Jinder recently. It wasn't an all hands on deck "Jinder is the man to carry the brand forward" statement. He said things like "he wasn't successful before," "you can criticize him, but he's earned my personal respect," and "the jury is still out." That's been one of the weirdest things to come from this, because that just doesn't sound like a way you talk about your champion. My gut tells me that they know this is a failed experiment. In India and domestically. It's possible that the Singh Brothers got beat up by him after the match because they're goons like Sakamoto was to Tensai, but something about it does feel like a wrap-up on the project. If the ratings also hold, I don't see why they would go back to Mahal. 500,000 more people watching. That's a 25% increase for a taped show. Sure, the last one was Halloween and was against things people would rather watch (funny how they use "there's more interesting stuff" as an excuse), but given how scant the WWE audience is compared to what it used to be, the difference between 2 million and 2.5 million is a lot more dramatic. |
