He wore out his goodwill with me a long time ago so I'm not sad to see him go. But that being said, good for him. He turned a tiny opportunity into about a year of significant screen time in WWE.

He’ll be able to do a lot more with an indy career now (he runs a promotion I believe), and I'm sure he'll find bookings for some simple appearances and signings for a bit.

I wanted him to win the women's belt at WM b/c I thought it would piss a lot of people off and that would be funny to me.

I bet he sexually harassed Carmela.

I really liked him as a mouth piece for Carmella. Sad to see him go.

Meh. I lost interest as soon as he joined forces with Carmella. They needed to do the man v. woman matches sooner in my eyes, he should have been bouncing around to all the divas on house shows for months, not just on the recent Europe tour....

He brought a unique act to WWE. SD is already boring though so it's whatever. He could only do so much and made a jobber gig into a year long paycheck.

Honestly, they did a really good job with him. They overplayed their hand with him as a babyface in the top mix, but I really liked the heel pairing with Carmella. Did his job well. So long. He'll make cameos in Royal Rumbles and get eliminated in comical fashion for years to come.

For someone only meant to be a throwaway jobber for Braun, he ended up having one of the best success stories in the WWE in recent years.

Turning him heel and then pairing up with Carmella was a really smart idea in the end for Carmella considering how much she was struggling on the main roster prior to it.

A definite TNA signing for 3-4 months before they forget they signed him and he leaves. He will come in and do the exact same thing he was doing with one of their girls.

Jordan,Ziggler,Corbin,Ryder and Bray should be going with him.

That sucks. Think he had more mileage with Carmella and the women's division. Was really good in his role. Even though Carmella dumped him, I thought for sure he would help her win the belt and then get her back and the two would go on a tear.

Also I would not have minded him as women's champ himself briefly.

When he goes to TNA or whatever it's called now he should have a superhero gimmick. Hurricane Elms.

That would have been amazing.

His indy show asking price is way up now. Good for him.

I dont get this release. He actually was more of value than some of these dudes they have that they have no idea about.

This is why I legit think there is more to this release than we know. Maybe not sex related. I'm not sure honestly. But it dont matter. He draws more that Titus brand and anyone under him for that matter. Apollow Crews is going no where. I would easily release him before Ellsworth. I would release the shit half of the Bludgeon Brothers before i released him. I would release Accension before I would release Ellsworth... Something happened for sure. This is a very weird release. Something serious happened.

He lasted longer than he should and will be recognizable anywhere he goes. Could possibly even use Ellsworth as its his middle name.

This release dont make sense at all.

If i really tried, i could think of about 20 people i release before Ellsworth. This only makes sense if there is something we dont know.

Maybe he felt it was time to go back to running his own promotion. No idea outside of that.

Oddly enough she was the one wanting to work with him.

Also you guys REALLY underestimate just how good a mouth peice he became on top of that I will miss the man who can show his kids the night he got louder pop than WWE's golden boy Roman

Thinking about this a bit more and they should have waited till after next week to release him.

Bludgeon Bros need to smash at least one person with their hammers in order for the gimmick to be useful and it would have been a great way to write off Ellsworth from WWE Universe existence.

Not a fan. Doesn't really make sense that he was around. AJ Styles managed to survive it, because he's magic, but Dean Ambrose was still reeling from it until the Shield reunion. Good for him making the most of an opportunity, and I'm sure this was a somewhat expected release (it seemed like he got to say goodbye on the house shows and they wrapped him up), but it is definitely the right call.

I don’t even know who he is.......which just goes to show as to how far out of touch I am with the current product.

Happy for the guy, but not gonna miss him. If Rollermacka was a worse wrestler and didn't look like he could beat anyone up he might have taken that spot, lulz.

Favorite memory is when AJ Styles may have literally saved his life, or at least prevented him from being in a wheelchair, when he tucked his head when taking a Styles Clash and AJ realized it at the last second and didn't plant him on his head.

His current schtick kinda ran its course I think. I felt he had a good thing going, and made a good run of it but it was growing tired. Still a better character than Roman Reigns.

He turned not even a half chance into a year long contract and will probably ride of that for next few years at least. That's pretty impressive

He had more charisma and mic skills than a lot of other dudes still under contract.

Always wondered why they even hire him? Dude looked nothing like a wrestler.

Including the previous WWE Champion.

He was there to be beaten up by Braun but had 30 seconds of mic time before that and managed to get himself over.

I barely ever watch so I only know he was over on tpdub. Didn't know he was really over.

I remember him in some match where got help from some top face and beat someone he everyone thought would win.

To be honest though, it's not like he used talent to get to where he is. He got to stick around because he looks like a goof and cracked Vince up. He could have been worse and lasted as long. He could have been better and it wouldn't have made a difference.

I've seen him work before? I didn't realize I had to aggregate everything he's ever done to form an impression. I tried watching SmackDown when he was doing the AJ Styles/Dean Ambrose stuff. Did he suddenly become 10x better between now and then?

Do people realize you don't need to watch an entire television series to develop an opinion on whether or not it's for you? Do people think the movie gets better in the last ten minutes? Maybe you should buy a band's entire discography before you decide whether or not you like their sound?

Can't remember the last time I watched a full Raw or SmackDown. Doesn't mean I can't YouTube the shit for free. My arguments with CyNick were often not about the current product, but about the historical accuracy of what he was saying. So I don't think that could "literally" be true.

No, it's not. As I've stated constantly, I've seen a few PPVs this year. I watched the Royal Rumble, Fastlane, Elimination Chamber and WrestleMania. I'm not sure if I've watched a TV show, but I've seen YouTube clips. Again, not watching the product regularly or spending money on subscribing to its service is not the same thing as not following specific things, and seeking them out to form your own opinion of.

And that I don't watch the product regularly helps me form a very clear opinion of what I currently think of it, and where my emotional investment currently is. Again, we come back to the point that if you watch something and it turns you off, then you obviously haven't liked it. Don't tell me that you need to watch all of Riverdale season one to work out whether or not it's for you. The whole product isn't for me right now. I can't watch it because most of it bothers me. But I heard good things about Daniel Bryan's promo on SmackDown, so I sought it out. Enjoyed it. Heard that Alexa Bliss is really good. Watched a segment of hers. Hated it. Funny how you can watch things that have both been highly recommended, but come away with your own opinion on it.

That being said, I also didn't watch SummerSlam 2016, Hell in a Cell, Survivor Series, TLC, Roadblock: End of the Line, Payback or Backlash. So when Jinder Mahal won the WWE Title, and I realized that I was only really keeping the Network for certain things, I decided that was enough. I wasn't going to financially vote for this company anymore. You'll find that I'm unlikely to talk about exactly how great Roman versus whoever the fuck it was he wrestled at Roadblock is. I'll talk about how uninteresting the vibe around it was. I can't tell you how great Brock vs. Joe was or wasn't, but I can tell you I was intrigued by the hype around it and that I actually watched Raw segments involving Brock and Joe, which I can form an opinion on.

This would be pretty easy to grasp for most people, but I have a feeling this is another Alexa Bliss thing, where people can't separate me criticizing people overrating her with me criticizing their subjective fandom for her.

I'd like to see Titus O'Neal become trans and dominate the women's division.

Part of me fears this will be Velveteen Dream's gimmick when he gets to RAW/SD.
