I know Aleister is taking this but I'm really digging Velveteen Dream and wouldn't mind seeing him pick up a big upset victory.

Sure, Dream would have gotten a huge boost from winning, but Black has been mostly untouchable and would have taken a big hit by losing their first match.

With the way this went, Black looks vulnerable but still bad ass, and Dream goes from being Goldust to like the fucking AJ Styles of NXT.

Kairi Sane so excruciatingly hot it oughtta be illegal.

Maybe it's because the TakeOvers are 4 months apart and they have way more time to plan the matches, I guess...

last match was fantastic

I think of the four, Ember's kind of the most boring option. She's had some good matches, and her losing effort to Asuka was great, but she still seems to be missing "something." She's been pretty much the same thing she's been since her first title opportunity and miss. I mean, there's a redemption story there, but they haven't done any of the legwork for it.

Royce has the whole Iconic Duo obnoxious bullshit going on and would be a fine heel champion.

Nikki is batshit crazy and over.

Kairi Sane was the winner of the MYC and kills bitches.

All better options than Ember.

Nikki Cross almost reminds me of a way more psychologically unstable AJ Lee.

Correct. That and you get one hour of nxt per week and one ppv ever quarter so you don't have to see the same matches 50 times.

Until Vince let her go because he still doesn't "get" pirate gimmicks. I honestly have no idea how he didn't know that Paul Burchill's pirate gimmick was topical at the time due to Captain Jack Sparrow from the original Pirates of the Caribbean.
