Am I the only one irked by the idea of a Handicap Match for the title? Seems like something Russo would book.

Smackdown has to be really, really, really, really, really good to make up for last night's nightmare that was the 25th anniversary of Monday Night Raw.

How did this handicap match for the title come to be with two face authority figures at the helm? Did Styles just welcome the challenge and say "book it" or something?

Daniel is going a bit crazy with power. But some people think he is ussing the handicap match to put a wedge between Sami and Kevin.

Did he ever actually give an explanation of why he booked the match though?

I think AJ Styles said "Why don't you just put me in a Handicap Match against them?!" because he kept losing one-on-one matches with Shane and Bryan getting involved and distracting him. Bryan said "Great idea!" and AJ was like "What?! No!"

Yeah, it's shit.

Why not just book them in a match against each other -- winner gets a WWE Title shot and the loser cannot challenge for a year?

I get that people are joking when they say the show is cursed, but Rich Swann and Enzo Amore both very likely being pieces of shit is pretty easy to explain without a curse -- they're both very likely pieces of shit.

WWE storylines are better when you don't think about em too much.

Tye Dillinger needs a heel turn and join KO/Sami as a Canadian heel stable

Outside of Tozawa and Kalisto's 1 week reigns, every champ so far had something bad happen to them and/or their career in the WWE after winning the belt.

Then again Tozawa is pretty much an afterthought now and Kalisto's buzz died really quickly for the division so no champ avoided the "curse."

Sami is a good annoying heel.

The booking for the two new groups of women has been puzzling. Neither group has benefited so far and it really does come off as WWE only called them up so they'd have more main roster bodies for the Women's Rumble.

He's pretty much in WWE limbo till his contract expires and that's assuming WWE doesn't enter petty mode with freezing his contract for an even longer limbo like with Rey.

But that's because he walked out, haha. If he had asked for his release, they probably would have granted him one.
