Who is the Worst Full Time Wrestler you've ever seen
I'm drunk, so you're getting random thought threads.
Who's the worst full time wrestler you've ever seen. I'm not talking about Jenny Morasca or Queen Sharmell. I've pretty much spent the past 3 years watching old late 70's/early 80's wrestling. Especially old WWWF/WWF. Jesse Ventura is the worst wrestler I've ever seen. Worse the Giant Gonzales. He's fucking horrendous. Unwatchable horrendous. |
Lex Luger or Paul Roma. Fucking garbage
|
Awww Roma was great
|
No he wasn't. He sucked.
|
Mantaur was pretty garbage too
|
Nikky Chance was also very shit
|
Axl Rotten was pretty awful, I can't think of a single move in his arsenal besides hitting people over the head hardway with random objects.
Personal bias, but I don't think I've ever enjoyed an Alberto Del Rio match. All of his offense is retarded-looking, he can't get over for anything besides cheap heat in condescending to the crowd, and he's always had that bullshit "I'm not going to sell anything or make anything look good, because I know I'm a legit badass in real life" mentality. Every other wrestler on earth taps out in submissions - Alberto slaps the mat once because he's so so Legit Hard  |
I still don't understand how/why Paul Roma was in the Horsemen
Anyway its a toss up between Sandman and Ultimate Warrior for me |
I'm assuming you're talking strictly in-ring work.
Khali is the obvious answer. And probably the correct one. |
I think Khali might actually be better than Jackie Gayda.
|
I thought about Jackie Gayda but I think if it wasn't for that one atrocious match, she probably wouldn't come up. Khali may not have had a match that was as memorably bad as that but that's only because he could barely move. Tough to botch much when you're just limping around and chopping people in the head.
|
I'm drunk. Worst full-time wrestler i've ever seen? Don't know what a few cunts on ignore have said before me but I'll give it a go.
Psycho Sid. Great look and visual but just never really was there for the in-ring and speaking. Shit the bed as it were. |
STD being a biased asshole toward Sid.
|
Does Nathan Jones count as full time?
|
Knobs and saggs
Public enemy Dave Sullivan nearly all mid 00s divas David flair Off the top of my head |
Nailz, Mabel, Luger, Nathan Jones, Psycho Sid, Khali, Giant Gonzalez
|
Giant Gonzalez
|
Toss up between Viscera and Giant Gonzalez although probably could think of worse ones with some real effort put into this.
Like Kelly Kelly was pretty terrible overall but at least she can do a couple moves well. Bastion Booger was also pretty terrible and ... well I can't think of anything good about him off the top of my head. |
That guy that got tackled by Gronkowski but I've already forgot his name.

STD has half the brain Sid does.

Sandman always stuck with me. He had charisma and a great entrance but literally everything he did in the ring looked so awkward and unnatural. Probably cause he was drunk while doing it, which is crazy to think about now.
He is definitely the worst "mobile" guy with a long, prominent career I can think of |

Sandman's a good choice. Paul Heyman himself said that he was one of the worst wrestlers he's ever seen, and that Jim Fullington himself would be the first to admit it.
|
Tamina
|
Mongo McMichael, if he doesn't count as full time then Honky Tonk Man.
|
How has nobody said Buff Bagwell.

I agree with Luger. He was shit and his torture rack looked pretty awful.

Luger is way better than people give him credit for.
|
He's good at killing Miss Elizabeth that's about it. He fucking sucked
|
Lex Express.

Lex also had a weird habit of grabbing at his junk during his matches/interviews early in his WCW career lol |
Luger does not belong in this discussion.
|
I watched a bunch of AWA shows when they were on ESPN and they had this guy for a few shows named Rocky Mountain Thunder. My God.
|
Khali probably is the right answer tbh. He wasn't signed to be good in the ring, he was signed to be an attraction.....but if this is strictly in-ring skills Khali was physically incapable of doing anything other than lumber around and chop.
|
Nikolai Volkoff was fucking horrible as well.
I'm not even talking about Money Inc Volkoff. He's was horrible was back in the 70's. |
"I've seen The Great Khali move around in this ring with more balance and poise than you."
-Wade Barrett to David Otunga, NXT season one finale |
Snitsky was pretty terrible
|
Wasn't his fault though.
|
Snitsky punting a baby into the 12th row is my favorite moment of all time
|
Giant Gonzalez/El Gigante was total trash too
|
Funny story I read about Gigante - he never intended to be a wrestler, he actually was drafted to the Atlanta Hawks - Ted Turner's basketball team. Turner took one look at him, and immediately put him on WCW TV
|
then Vince took one look at his doughy physique and put him in a body suit.
|
Then somebody airbrushed a butt crack on him.
|
Snitsky is a guilty pleasure of mine. He took that baby and ran with it.
Heidenreich fucking sucked though. And from really modern guys, Darren Young & Titus O'Neil. Fucking hell. Oh, and Zack Ryder is atrocious. He's such an uncoordinated goof out there. Everything he does looks so fucking awkward and sloppy. And Jinder fucking Mahal. Has there ever been someone more boring? Going back, a lot of my wounds have healed. Tiger Ali Singh was pretty shit though. Beefcake? I mean, for his consistent pushes and to the level he was pushed. |
Juat Joe was just a pile of crap
|
Al Snow

Greatest European Champion ever

I think Khali has to be taken out of consideration because he had a good match with HBK, and some decent stuff with Cena and Batista. El Giagante was probably the worst. He was so fragile, frighteningly tall sure but, not a wrestler by any means.
Al Snow? Are you kidding, I mean the guy is a great wrestler, and had a great run in ECW and WWE. And Snitsky was entertaining and not that bad in the ring so that's not it. Nikolai Volkoff had plenty of entertaining matches, sloppy and dangerous sure but still good to watch. El Gigagante NEVER had even a remotely good match. It never happened, couldn't have, impossible. |
Paul Roma wasn't brilliant but he was athletic and daring, and had plenty of good matches alongside Arn Anderson.
Sid had great matches with Shawn and Bret, and was really bad ass squashing people his whole career. Buff had plenty of great matches under his belt especially in his early days teaming with Scorpio and then later on in the TV Title scene. He was really athletic before his injury, and everyone thought he was a future superstar. Luger? Are you kidding me? Sure he had a boat load of bad matches, but he had plenty of great matches that mattered. Matches with Sting, Flair.... I mean he was apart of one of the greatest tag matches of all time vs The Steiners at Superbrawl. The Sandman could be considered I guess, I still think he was lots better than El Gigante though. Honky Tonk Man could work his ass off, and Mongo wasn't that bad. Sloppy and dangerous but kinda entertaining. I dunno maybe I'm a Mongo mark, I enjoyed him. |
Mongo was bad lol
|
I have fond memories of him vs Goldberg at Starcade but it's probably because the show sucked and they had a table spot that I marked out for. He was a helluva promo!

PN News was trash. He was just a fat oaf who rapped. Terrible.

Back on topic, Nasty Boys have to be the worst. |

Is Eva Marie the one with red hair? Would you consider her full time?

There was a time when I legitimately felt Mark Henry was that fucking awful, but maybe it was just a phase, or maybe I was judging him too harshly. I think Steve McMichael is my answer. Never saw him have a good match. Might be wrong though. |

Mongo had the worst balence of anyone I've seen in the ring. He always seemed to be falling down lol
|
His rasslin name should have been Mongo Lloyd
|
It's a different discussion obviously but if you are talking a star to ring talent ratio, Warrior is off the charts.
An absolute megastar, but watching back now, he was incredibly wreckless and did very few actual moves in matches. His good matches were when athletic guys bumped around for him, but he was awful in ring for as big a star as he was. As bad, if not worse, than mentions in this thread. |
Mongo was bad, but that ponytail was an all-timer.

Look at that thing. Majestic. Makes me want to rescue him from a tall tower. |
Did anyone say Mantaur, Bastion Booger, or Man Mountain Rock?
|
Glacier was pretty shit, though I think it's because of all the hype and him being a letdown.
|
No one agrees with me on Eva Marie. Hmmm.
