Yeah, saw a bit of him as Prince Puma (more than I have without the mask), and he just seemed and looked "more interesting" with the mask.

I always hate when they do "unsanctioned matches"...... like, it is obviously sanctioned and given time in the ring, assigned a referee, etc.........

Got Supercard of Honor Lined up for right after this. Can't wait for Kenny vs Cody, but the whole card for Takeover is too good for me to pass on for that one match.

NXT video packages seem way better than WWE ones... overall production in general is way better...

I think a lot of it is that they're presenting it as real and natural. Like they don't just toss to someone backstage with some magical disembodied camera conveniently on when two guys start brawling. They always set it up with something else, like X or Y is being interviewed by the press but OSHIT SOMETHING'S HAPPENING OVER HERE.

That adds a lot of authenticity to all of the video packages that pull from that and makes it feel way more real and authentic.

Yeah... I mean, there's something to be said for having a super abrasive, obnoxious guy on the panel. That kind of antagonistic personality is kind of a wrestling staple, but for someone who's supposedly a superfan, he seemed really out of the loop on what's going on.

I don't think is too egregious. It's basically taking the place of the PPV opening video, since it's one of the themes and it's playing through all the talent/matches on the card. Pretty great middle ground, IMO.

Didn't see much of him in TNA, but I think the general consensus is that he's pretty average in the ring, but a killer character and mic worker, so his charisma and ability to drag the audience in can cover up a lot of that, maybe.
