I have a weird feeling that Riott will get the duke tonight. Not sure why. Maybe because it's a non-title match. Owens and Lashley has potential to be good. Michaels is always a good promo. I'll at least be tuning in for the Liv Morgan ten bell salute.

I don't want to jinx it, but I feel like Raw has been on a bit of an upswing over the past couple weeks. Hopefully the trend continues tonight.

I 100% expect this to be an absolutely half-assed Raw that's mailed in. Betcha everyone non-essential is not even in the building and are in Australia or in the process of getting there.

Can see Ruby vs Ronda being surprisingly good depending if they give it a decent amount of time and cut back on the Bellas/Riott Squad shenanigans.

Ruby meshes well with almost anyone and has quietly been one of WWE's better women wrestlers since her call up.

I don't love when they talk about "not being prepared" for an opponent on Raw. You're there on Raw as part of the roster. You should be prepared for anything at any time. Especially by now.

Something just hit me storyline wise the general managers who run the shows have no idea what's going to happen week to week and essentially have nothing planned before the show starts and every single Monday, Tuesday what have you they just hope something pops off.

Remember when Reigns promised to be a weekly fighting champ for the WWE Universe if he won the Universal belt. That lasted like what 1-2 weeks before WWE forgot about it.

Back when I was GM, I would always have a plan in mind as to what I was going to book.... but even right off the bat I always looked at it as a "backup plan", and I would just book matches/main events based on what was happening.
