For why it was never made public before, Reigns did mention it was in remission for years so that removes WWE needing to make an announcement since it wasn't life or career threatening. They usually only make that type of announcement when it comes to signing new wrestlers if they fail the medical testing.

The only thing worse than Roman's booking has been his garbage luck as far as his push goes. Run up to being the new guy: seriously impacted by an Arrested Hernia. First sustained title run: cut short by a Wellness strike. Shield Reunion: Mostly missed due to Meningitis. And now this.

Hope he gets to feeling better.
