SPOILER: show

credit - wrestlinginc / pwinsider

* The roster is on the stage as Acting RAW GM Baron Corbin talks Crown Jewel and Survivor Series. Security is blocking the ring. Corbin announces he will face WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle tonight with the winner being the Team Captain for the men's RAW team at Survivor Series. Dolph Ziggler and Braun Strowman already have spots. Alexa Bliss is the women's Team Captain but she's just leading the team, not wrestling. Strowman barrels through security and goes after Corbin.

1 - The Riott Squad vs. Sasha Banks, Bayley and Natalya is first. The match ends in a No Contest when Ruby Riott stomps on Natalya's glasses that belonged to her dad, WWE Legend Jim "The Anvil" Neidhart. The Riott Squad leaves as Bayley and Banks console Natalya.

2 - Apollo Crews defeated Jinder Mahal. The crowd was said to be disinterested in this match.

* Seth Rollins comes out with both the WWE Intercontinental Title and RAW Tag Team Titles. He praises Roman Reigns and is interrupted by The Authors of Pain and Drake Maverick. RAW GM Baron Corbin orders Rollins to defend the tag titles in a handicap match.

3 - The Authors of Pain defeated Seth Rollins in a 2-on-1 Handicap Match to win the RAW Tag Team Titles. After the match, Dean Ambrose ran to the ring and hit Rollins with a Dirty Deeds.

* Dolph Ziggler comes out with a mic but he's interrupted by Elias.

4 - Elias pinned Dolph Ziggler clean.

* Ronda Rousey cuts a promo and warns Becky Lynch that she is the baddest b***h on the planet and she is taking her down at Survivor Series.

5 - Nia Jax squashes Ember Moon. Tamina came to the ring post-match and got in Nia's face. Tamina then attacked Ember. Nia Jax acted shocked but then Nia turned heel and worked over Moon as well.

*Baron Corbin flees Raw to avoid Braun Strowman, but before he exits, he puts Drew McIntyre in his place vs. Kurt Angle in the main event.

6 - Bobby Lashley defeated Finn Balor after Lio Rush caused a distraction. After the match, Drew McIntyre came out and had a staredown with Lashley. McIntyre helped Balor up from the mat but immediately dropped him with a Claymore kick

6 - Drew McIntyre defeated Kurt Angle by using the ankle lock to make him submit in the main event. After the match, McIntyre and Dolph Ziggler go to attack Angle but Braun Strowman makes the save and clears the ring. Angle was dazed early in the match and never quite got back on track 100%.

End Show

Cool King 11-05-2018 04:00 PM

Oh, right.

I guess it shows how much I'm paying attention to the current product as I didn't know they were here in the UK tonight.

GD 11-05-2018 04:41 PM

How nice of the WWE app to suggest a spoiler via notification...

poopfromweiner dude 11-05-2018 04:50 PM

nothing better than raw live from the uk

RP 11-05-2018 04:58 PM

another Balor vs Lashley match
another Riott Squad vs other 3 hoes match
another Nia vs Ember moon match
another Apollo vs Jinder match.

Everyone can now go watch MNF without interuption.

slik 11-05-2018 05:02 PM

Doesn't WWE usually sell out UK shows?

Another bullshit show. Should be avoided at all costs. RAW was much better with just one women's segment/match. Now they have at least 3 which is a waste of time an dilutes the quality of the show.

slik 11-05-2018 05:34 PM

Full Spoilers in tag in first post

Mr. Nerfect 11-05-2018 05:50 PM

Holy shit, that show sounds awful. Survivor Series being led by Baron Corbin. Lol if Nia and Tamina are the first Women's Tag Champs.

RaginRonic 11-05-2018 06:01 PM

Is AJ Styles booked for a match tomorrow night on SmackDown?

Theo Dious 11-05-2018 06:30 PM

Sounds gay.

I'm sorry you'll have to take the cock out of your mouth if you want to be understood.

Well that’s saved me the best part of 3 hours.

Everyone can now go watch MNF without interuption.

If Raw gets destroyed by the TENNESSEE TITANS vs the DALLAS COWBOYS then McMahon should step down as chairman at 11:06 pm eastern time tonight.

ClockShot 11-05-2018 08:01 PM

Show's in the U.K.

Spoilers have been provided.

No reason to watch.

G'night.

Evil Vito 11-05-2018 08:10 PM

Nope, not interested in this in the slightest

KIRA 11-05-2018 08:15 PM

Skipping to watch Castlevania season 2 I've heard it's absolutely incredible

Mr. Nerfect 11-05-2018 09:37 PM

Jesus Christ, this is the Raw thread?

Sepholio 11-05-2018 09:42 PM

….It was pre-taped due to being in UK. Everyone knows what happened. Nothing to talk about.

Sepholio 11-05-2018 09:43 PM

The RAW threads are always abysmal for the episodes that are filmed in advance of the U.S. air time.

slik 11-05-2018 10:14 PM

Actually they still usually reach multiple pages. So far, this RAW hasn't been able to crack pg. 2

Mr. Nerfect 11-05-2018 10:23 PM

Yeah, being quiet is one thing, but this is dead.

xrodmuc316 11-05-2018 10:24 PM

How many people had Yamuna been a freaking sidekick for??

AJ Lee, Naomi, Lana, Nia Jax now. Am I forgetting anybody?

Also, Nia Jax is the worst character ever. I wish she would quit for real

Mr. Nerfect 11-05-2018 10:25 PM

I paid more attention to the opening segment. With Corbin leading the Raw team and Braun feuding with Corbin, I have this nightmare that Braun is going to defect to SmackDown and win the WWE Title from AJ Styles.

When they booked her vs. Ronda at Money in the Bank, I was hoping that was the reason, lol. That Vince knew something that we didn't about her interest in staying in the business. Oh well.

Either this or they do two Raw vs. SmackDown matches, and they have a more traditional babyface/heel dynamic. Which does not seem their style. But they could do:

Kurt Angle, Braun Strowman, Elias, Finn Balor & Apollo Crews

VS

Shane McMahon, The Miz, Randy Orton, Andrade "Cien" Almas & Samoa Joe

and

Baron Corbin, Dolph Ziggler, Drew McIntyre, Bobby Lashley & Jinder Mahal

vs.

Daniel Bryan, Rey Mysterio, Jeff Hardy, Rusev & R-Truth

Mr. Nerfect 11-05-2018 10:32 PM

And yes, R-Truth, Jinder Mahal and Apollo Crews are there to be the geeks that go first.

rez 11-05-2018 10:33 PM

Glad WWE has taken a shit beyond shit. Gives me time for RDR2.

Mr. Nerfect 11-05-2018 10:34 PM

Apparently the SS match featuring the men is going to be:

SPOILER: show
* Team Raw: Kurt Angle, Braun Strowman, Bobby Lashley, Drew McIntyre, and Dolph Ziggler (w/Baron Corbin)
* Team Smackdown: Daniel Bryan, Samoa Joe, Rey Mysterio, The Miz, and Randy Orton (w/Shane McMahon)

Well...at least Shane isn't wrestling.

Paige been written off as GM or they trying to keep Arabia happy for the next shit show

Mr. Nerfect 11-05-2018 10:46 PM

She's still around, but I guess she's just time-sharing with Shane.

rez 11-05-2018 10:49 PM

DM needs to clip his fingernails

slik 11-05-2018 10:55 PM

RAW isn't even in the top ten Twitter trends worldwide. It used to easily be a top three trend worldwide the duration of the broadcast. That's a bad demographic to lose interest in the 'E.

slik 11-05-2018 10:56 PM

Don't get me wrong, WM will sell out bc it's WM, but this show has been pretty D.O.A. for weeks now, if not longer.

slik 11-05-2018 11:05 PM

RE: Shane/Paige talk above

SPOILER: show

The big rumor is that
Shane is going to do a heel authority figure storyline long-term on SDLive. Paige will remain as a babyface however. Apparently some big match is planned for Shane at WM35, possibly against Kurt Angle or AJ Styles.

Miz is rumored to be turning face soon and feuding w/ Shane.

Shane vs Angle 2 hmmmm

rez 11-05-2018 11:07 PM

AJ versus HBK for WM main event..

team TNA can run in for AJ and DX can run in for HBK.

slik 11-05-2018 11:09 PM

I caught the end of RAW...not a good match - at all - between Kurt and Drew. Kurt seems 'tired'.

Ending seemed to set up Drew as RAW's 'top heel' but since WWE is really inconsistent week to week who knows if that's what they intended. If so, I can see them keeping Braun/Drew separate until WM-ish time.

Did they not telegraph it this time with stereotypically British stage decorations like the parked vintage taxi and double decker bus and whatnot?

rez 11-05-2018 11:19 PM

Top o the mornin to these hands

slik 11-05-2018 11:20 PM

no

I think they had michael cole talk about eating fish and chips on commentary briefly instead

congrats to raw for cracking 2 pgs baybay

Mr. Nerfect 11-05-2018 11:24 PM

I can see Shane vs. Angle at WrestleMania, to be honest. I can see Shane winning too.

So... I take it the show was shit?

Also, I didn't realize the thread was only one page, or that my last post was the one to overrun. If I knew that, I wouldn't have bothered and kept this to a single page. I apologize.

Does WrestleMania sell-out? I was listening to a podcast recently where they suggested it doesn't quite. Like, it obviously does huge business, but you can still get tickets on the day. This surprised me.

It's going to be interesting when people "get over" attending Mania and they do have to start worrying about hooking people beyond the branding again.

But yeah, you're right. I've been critical of the product forever, and I've been a lapsed fan for quite a while. I'm not surprised that interest is lower, but just that it is this low. Usually there are a few more people feigning an interest or forcing themselves to watch. Obviously this is just in the TPWW microcosm, but interest seems to be dying everywhere.

rez 11-05-2018 11:27 PM

as long as it's not a cage match. Shane would kill Angle..for real

Mr. Nerfect 11-05-2018 11:29 PM

It'll just be a few takedowns, Shane doing some shitty punches, Angle barely moving out of the way of an elbow through a table, a belly-to-belly on the outside, Shane kicking out of an Angle Slam, Angle pulling down the straps, Shane countering another Angle Slam and then either Shane or Kurt winning with either Coast-to-Coast or the Ankle Lock.

slik 11-05-2018 11:44 PM

Why is Drake Maverick even managing AOP, why am I supposed to care as a viewer?

One of the benefits of NXT is when someone wins a title it feels like the accomplishment of a journey they've been on.

slik 11-05-2018 11:46 PM

AOP winning the belts felt like an afterthought in the (thus far) dull Seth/Dean feud.

It came across as desperately trying to get them relevant. Let their dominance, week in and week out, make them relevant.

A lot of WWE booking is like taking a person to a Chinese Buffet and every time they put something on their plate jumping in and saying "The Sweet and Sour Chicken is Amazing".

Let the people eat their dam Bok Choy and Kung Pao.

I ask myself the same questions whenever I see AOP.

Drake Maverick looks absolutely ridiculous when he's next to AOP and I just can't take AOP seriously when he's with them. The three of them together look like a comedy team but act incredibly serious and threatening.

When AOP got called up to the main roster, I was slightly interested in them but as soon as Drake Maverick appeared with them, I just stopped caring.

I don't get why Vince & Co. just didn't have AOP beat The B-Team for their titles.

It would have made much more sense than them dropping their titles to Ziggler & McIntyre and then Ziggler & McIntyre dropping them to Rollins & Ambrose.

Those two teams brought absolutely nothing to the division and actually made the division and the titles more of an afterthought.

With The B-Team as champions, people actually cared about the titles and the Tag Team Division (or at least it seemed that way) but instead, we get two transitional champions one after another as they were only champions as a way to make them either "more legit" (which kinda failed in my opinion) or to further an angle between the two champions.

If AOP defeated The B-Team for the titles, it would have given AOP more heat for taking the titles from a team of "lovable losers" like The B-Team.

Franco Vazquez 11-06-2018 03:36 PM

It turns out Shane is not turning heel (for now) and said he's not best in the world

The problem with Wrestlemania is the fact of everything in between. The entire weekend is a grind. 3+ hour NXT PPV, 7+ hour mania, 3+ hour Raw, 2+ hour SD and possibly more NXT tapings. Let's call a spade a spade. Unless there is some once in a life time match (HBK versus AJ or HBK versus Rock this year would force me to drive from Michigan to NY to see it) the only people that go to Mania are the diehards and the general population. NXT is must see action. The Raw after is the best Raw of the year because its arguably all the cheap ass fan boys that didn't want to pay for the PPV and because there is always some sick angle that takes place. The SD after is usually reserved for a big debut from NXT or a major event.

Mania is just....a wrestling show that is the same old stuff from the past year.

Mr. Nerfect 11-08-2018 05:09 AM

Don't feel it with The AOP either. I'd rather the belts went to Roode & Gable. At least they are babyfaces to against The Bar. You can always do the Roode turn on Gable later. I wonder if Jason Jordan is going to be medically cleared to come back and save his buddy from a Beer Money beat-down?
