Hulk Hogan is the greatest wrestler ever
Hulk Hogan is the greatest wrestler ever. He's the reason what WWE is what it is today. He could have chosen the Rock route and never returned to wrestling after doing movies but he didn't turn his back on the wrestling industry and returned to WWE. His wrestling style was better than most of the wrestlers today and marks favorites flip flop monkeys in the indies. What he did (racism) was in the past and it was a private talk which shouldn't be leaked at all and it should come under the invasion of privacy and even if he did say the N-word, I think black people are to be blamed for that because Black people keep on saying that word amongst themselves and moment someone from a different race say that, they crap in their pants. If Black people want to end this racism, they need to start with themselves as they say charity begins at home and many people wont believe it but I have personal experiences that black girls are the most racist people ever because once I asked a bunch of black girls that which race do they prefer to date, They all said black and that they hate white guys and people from other races because they are weak and effeminate. Now imagine if a white or Asian person say that they are superior to black race, what would be the reaction.
Hogan in his entire career has worked with black people and all of them said that he has never been racist to them then what the hell is the issue with Titus and the New Day? They should just accept that what he said was in the past and move on. |
Hogan is the GOAT as it stands I would agree with you. But I don't agree with your racial commentary and it really isn't relevant. Regardless of what Hulk said, his active time in the business was incredible. The only guys who can touch his longevity on top are Bruno and Cena, and in their own ways superseded Hogan (another conversation). Even to this day I don't think any one wrestler's picture would make a non-wrestling fan say "wrestling" like Hogan's.
I would fervently disagree that Hogan could have NEVER been the star that The Rock is in Hollywood. If he could've been, he would've been. Hogan pretty much sucks at playing anything other than Hulk Hogan, see "Santa with Muscles' as example. Hogan doesn't have "it" when it comes to being the "biggest leading man in show business", not even close. Cena has a bigger non-wrestling/Hollywood presence than Hogan ever did. |
One reason that Hogan is the GOAT is that he was seen as the "Top guy" by many of the great promoters. Vince of course, Verne Gagne, Antonio Inoki and of course Ted Tuner and Eric Bischoff, but they didn't discover anything that wasn't already there.

also I don't agree. I'd let Ember Moon ride my dingus
|
also to answer the thread - Hogan is either the GOAT or a very close #2 behind Bruno

If this was supposed to be a controversial thread then you've probably picked the wrong forum. Around 90% of this forum would fully agree that he's the biggest star in wrestling, and about 99% of the forum have made more racist remarks.
So yeah, this isn't exactly a hot topic here and this probably isn't going to get the reaction you're after. Except maybe from SlickyTrickyDemon whose ancestors didn't die just to be a John Cena t-shirt |

I appreciate the Kane Knight "you're obsessed" with me approach. If you want to say stuff that elicits a reaction, you should probably expect reactions, silly boy.

Maybe he does want to fuck you. Many romances often start with playful banter

I don't know why you're wasting time responding to me. There's something that happened in WWE for you to be irrationally upset about. @RP

But ya.. I'm pissed that Nia is fat and sloppy. |
every time you get upset about WWE you're like "THAT'S IT I'M DONE FOREVER I'VE HAD ENOUGH".
It reminds me of owenbrown. but more sad. |

Ya. I did that after Crown Jewel. But then i happen to watch the end of Raw with Becky going ape shit and it was honestly one of those moments I can never forget. Her attacking Ronda. Her walking out to face RAW after the attack and then her busted open standing at the the top of the arena talking shit. That got me back. At the time i thought she was busted open on accident, but then i saw Nia just flat out punching her on purpose and I was irate. |

Hogan never made a good movie, so no he couldn't go to Hollywood like Rock
Hogan never even sniffed the ratings or PPV buyrates or merch sales of Steve Austin Hogans longevity at the top pales in comparison to John Cenas. Pretty much every top guy ever had a better workrate and mat skills. Hogan is the most recognizable pro wrestler with the blonde hair, red and yellow colors, bandana and mustache. Other than most recognizable, he isn't at the top. |
I also am not attracted to chocolate women
#wreckemrectum |
They are gross.. Most of them. A select few are very nice. Hot black women are like a rare truffle.
|
RP's not wrong. Very few black women are attractive.

Technically Kevin Nash is the greatest of all time during this month, Hulk can have the other 11 months.

You're God damn right he is

I'm not saying Hulk isn't one of the all time greats, but he isn't the single greatest. I am saying that if there are arguments that can be made for multiple people, then that itself is the argument against anybody being the GOAT. |
You can't compare eras like that. It's apples and oranges.
|
Motherfuckers! ( i reserve this post for when i'm sober enough to tell you why you are all motherfuckers. )
|
Hogan is the greatest ever. Not gonna touch the racism stuff bc thats not something i would ever want to discuss. Ever.
|
Hogan's underrated re: his work by smarks, but he's not the GOAT. He's one of the biggest stars the industry has ever had, and had some of the biggest crossover appeal (shitty movies or not, people know him). He's a crucial part of wrestling history, but it's hard to qualify someone to be called "the best" in such a blanket way.
|
Pre 1987 Hogan is best Hogan. If he’s in the white tights he’s probably having a good matxh
|
Hogan until the Andre feud was having VERY good matches. The "Hogan couldn't work" narrative is 100% not true. They just haven't seen his house show matches. He got 3 very entertaining house show matches against lazy 1985 Don Muraco in a row at MSG. Not everyone could do that.
|
To me, working is about making what you do work. Get asses in seats. If that is happening because of you, it doesn't matter if you literally only throw a punch. Something about it is emotionally resonating. That's working because it's working.

Why don't we consider the opinion of another fictional character?
https://image.ibb.co/jGmJAL/58bf1d11...7c734a5-27.png "Hulk Hogan is really, really great! He's one of the best ever!" |
Thought you were talking about Hulk Hogan being a fictional character, with a penis bigger than the non-fictional Terry Bollea.
|
Ey, Spongebob's opinion is just as valid as the OP. I'd take the word of someone created to draw joy from children over someone created to draw anger from wrestling forum posters any day.

Comparing the weekly ratings during the Austin era and the Hogan era is just fucking insane. The format of the shows on Monday nights were night and day and Hogan rarely even appeared. However, the SNME with his rematch with Andre certainly more than sniffed Austin-era ratings. And merch-wise, do you realize the work one had to do to buy WWE merchant in the 80s/early 90s compared to the late 90s? You know the internet wasn’t a thing then. And, while longevity itself doesn’t actually measure success, Hogan was the top draw in wrestling for a good 13 years. Saying his longevity at the top pales in comparison to Cena’s is just flat out wrong. All of these points are just ridiculous. |
NEVER MADE A GOOD MOVIE!?
MR NANNY IS OSCAR MATERIAL, BRAH! |
Not to mention the masterpiece that is Suburban Commando.
|
Rocky 3 is arguably the best Rocky movie. Just sayin’.

This is the greatest piece of acting I've ever seen. |
You can't compare eras. PPV, merch, television was completely different between eras.

Now that we have established Hogan is the greatest wrestler of all time. Where does he rate as greatest actor of all time?
Top 5? |
