I got half-way through the trailer. No. Just no.

Saying that, I haven't seen the original in over 20 years (if the Disney animation film was the original, that is).

Getting past the horrible Genie ( WIll SMith) The trailer is absolute terrible and slow and this is suppose to be a Disney trailer. Which makes me think something is terribly wrong with this film. Disney dont just put a shit trailer out like this.

Never liked Aladdin anyway. Live action Lion King is what I’m waiting for.

What does everyone have against Will Smith Genie?

For the record, I don't care about this film much anyway as I just generally don't have much interest in this huge spate of reboots and live action adaptations we've seen over the last decade. That, and the trailer was pretty slow and lackluster.

But for what it's worth, we only see Will Smith for two seconds and everyone's freaking out.

I mean, if it's just the fact that blue Will Smith is pretty overbearing and ridiculous, then yeah, I can understand, but looking at the animated version, I'm not really sure what people were expecting.
