Was cool.... definitely had to go to YouTube and check it out instead of this weird Twitter aspect ratio....
|
Nick Fury all of a sudden in every movie now
|
Zendaya is fine as fuck.
|
She ain't Laura Harrier though.
|
Tru dat.
|
So, he makes it out of Endgame alive.
That's swell. |
Marisa Tomei is forever bangable. She'll be fuckable 20 years from now.
Also I want to create a new women's fragrance called Forever Bangable. |

Is it possible it's set to be before Infinity Wars and End Game?
|

|
I very much doubt it. Seeing how cool May is with him being Spiderman in this one?
Nah, he came back. Everyone came back somehow. |
Well...we don't know that. So I'm excited for this, how bout you guys?
|
Sure as fuck ain't a prequel.
Fuck your theories, bitches! |
Anyway, cool suit for Mysterio.
|
Hope they give him his proper powers.
Otherwise, it's a waste. |
Maybe those "elementals" are all an illusion and he creates them to defeat them for profit.

Also, Spider-man was never going to stay dead, are you kidding me? |

Laura Harrier is the second best looking woman in the entire Marvel universe/multiverse so far. Elizabeth Olsen first. If Deadpool counts then I also liked Zazie Beetz, even with her Bella Thorne pit hair.
Famous women are doing that again. I blame Miley Cyrus. |
I really think this is a prequel.
Too many characters in this movie for it not to be a prequel. |
Looks like a blast. Love the theme music.

Movies don't have to release in a hard chronological order. Making Spider-Man a direct sequel Homecoming makes more sense than trying to wrap brains around the events of Infinity War and reconciling that. Also, haha Venom-less black suit. |
Color scheme is more 'Ultimate' to me.

Also fuck anyone who says this is set before Infinity Wars. |
Seems harsh
|

By powers I mean his talent for creating illusions. This trailer makes it look like he's just another dude in a cool ass suit that lets him fly and shit like that. Also the line "So have you ever read anything with Mysterio in it?" makes you look like such an uptight nerd. Like "all you people that don't know exactly what this character is are beneath me". Sends shivers down my spine. Get laid. |
Your follow up post was about illusions so Shadow has tripped over himself in taking that nerd-swipe.
It's fairly obvious what you meant. |

I'm now fully expecting a "those are not DOLLS, they're ACTION FIGURES" neg rep.
|
He'll do it too fast and pos-rep you by mistake
|
Then he'll be so angry he has to log off

Its already a mess as is. |
It's after. Marvel already said that the first movie after Endgame needed to be a "normal human". Someone the audience can relate to and bring them back to Earth so to speak.
Everyone settle down. Either way, life will go on. |
Or will it?
|
WE'RE ALL GONNA DIE!!!!

One more movie doesn't turn it into a complex algebra problem. |
The timeline issue arose because of the last Spider-Man movie.
The only “issue” I have is showing Fury in the trailer. They could have kept his fate under wraps until after Endgame. |
We also now know that Flash Thompson survives Endgame too!!!!!
|
I like that they chose Mysterio.
The next one i hope has Kingpin or The Hobgoblin. |
Quote:
orrrrrrrrr it predates Infinity Wars. |
Quote:
I've been waiting for Kingpin for about twenty years. If it's Kingpin they will make a lot of cartoon fans happy. |

D'Onofrio kingpin only.

That was the joke... |

Though he did decapitate a Russian with a car door so..... |
Honestly, Fishbowl Head is the perfect villain and puts everything else we see in doubt.
|
Can Marvel films not use the Netflix roster? That'd be a bummer as I feel kingpin should be their endgame. Although his story was wrapped up rather nicely in S3 Daredevil, and he'd of course be toned quite a bit from a violence standpoint.
|
Jake Gyllenhall rumored to play Batman in DC's Bat-Reboot
Hmmm, this means the villain of the 3rd Tom Holland Spidey film has to be Val Kilmer, Ben Affleck, Clooney or Bale. |
Quote:
|
I love Gyllenhall. I just dont love him as Batman. I would love to see a smaller name as Batman.
|
Unless Bale comes back. And i doubt that unless Nolan is coming back.
|
Is it going to be a guy around Affleck's age? I'd screen test Karl Urban for it.
|
No, it will take place when Bats was younger/not great at being Batman yet supposedly.
Rumored villains are The Court Of Owls (which I would love, they're a secret cult in Gotham who wear creepy owl masks and are wealthy af) and The Penguin SPOILER: show |
That sounds like every second Netflix horror film nowadays.
|
After watching the Daredevil and Punisher series, can't help but wonder what a Batman series with the same tone would do. It would definitely be fun.
That did, I really Armie Hammer as the next Batman. He's handsome as fuck, he's big, and he's young enough to be the character over the next decade worth of films. |
Armie Hammer as Batman would be a terrible mistake.
|
Henry Cavill for Batman
|
Get one of the Skarsgaard's to do it
|
Don't watch if you haven't seen Endgame.

Damnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn.
|
Jake Gyllenhaal is great, I hope this is a bit darker than Homecoming.
|
Looks good
|
A multiverse could be their way of continuing the bigger franchises like Iron Man with new actors.
|
I dare say the multiverse is how they'll introduce X-Men, Fantastic 4, etc into the MCU. I just hope that it doesn't become a shit show like the various timelines, etc messed with X-Men.
|
It's almost cerrainly a way to get X-Men in there, and Miles for that matter.
If Beck us telling the truth, anyway. I mean he's totally the bad guy, right? |
One would naturally assume that he’s lying, because everything about Mysterio is a lie, but it’s such a convenient way of introducing the x-men.
|
It would be extremely convenient for a guy like Mysterio to take advantage of the fact that another world doesn't know he's a villain. I'm gonna lean toward the dimensional rift being real since Fury would make sure to verify at least that claim. So Beck could be from an alternate Earth, but he has too much history as a fraud if not dangerously vain.
Then there's the fact of other heroes which, yeah, would be an easy in for the X-Men and especially the FF who always deal with alternate dimensions. I wonder if Mysterio dealt with his own Spider-Person. |
Glad Mysterio is finally getting some play, I always liked him in the cartoons/games.
|
I still like my idea for introducing the FF by having their movie set in the 60's. Annihilus is the villain, and they trap themselves in the negative zone in order to stop him.
At some point during the next Avengers movie they come back to the present. |
So the black and red Spider-Man suit...
I don't think that's Peter Parker. |
Quote:
|
Woo loved the trailer! The multiverse thing is interesting and yes, I think it'll lead to X-Men, FF, etc. I disagree with Kalyx, I do think it's Peter in the red and black suit.
|
Quote:
Mysterio on the other hand, is a complete fucking scum bag. I thin Kalyx has the right of it with the dimensional tears being real, but Mysterio lying and taking advantage of it for his own gain. Regardless, they'd better have a good explanation for why Fury is fooled though |
Shouldn’t the thread title say “SPOILERS INSIDE”?
|
Nobody has posted open spoilers that I can see. All I see is speculation and a post that begins with a warning not to open the video unless you have seen Endgame. I will tag the title closer to the opening date on July 2nd.

Nobody been to see this yet?
|
I saw it yesterday but couldn't be bothered to post until it was acceptable to talk openly without having to spoiler tag everything.
Absolutely loved it though. Mysterio was fantastic and tied in very well with past events in the MCU, and the mid-credits scene is probably the ultimate fan-service Marvel could have done. Loved it! |
I loved it.
Actually felt like a Spider-Man comic. Mysterio was great, Ned was great, MJ was great, Happy & May were great. |
I just realized that scene in the trailer with the "I'm too busy doing your job" to the cops wasn't in the film.
Grrr why do Marvel keep doing that. |
Loved it as well. Was hilarious. Loved the mid credits scene so much. Mysterio was great. And man, Marisa Tomei is still smoking.
|
Really enjoyed. Film didnt need the world travel though. Could have taken place in new york and been the same movie. Literally my only gripe. Great time.
|
Quote:
You haven't even posted any spoilers. Now you can. Good boy. *pats head* |
Further flexing on the Spoiler issue will be dealt with by the cantankerous, kayfabe, miserly ghost of Don Jardine.
|
That mid credit scene where Happy and Peter are in the shower together and they start batting there cocks against eachother, was intense. I didnt see that coming.
|
You're an all-timer, bud. All time.
|
SPOILER: show |

|
It could be a thousand times and Spider-Man would still fell right being in New York.
Or maybe next time they can vacation to the moon. |
Well the rumours are Phase 4 goes “cosmic”.
|
The director wants Kraven for Spidey 3 so somehow i dont think its going to be very cosmic
|
Kosmic Kraven
