TPWW Survivor XXXIII - All Rise For Deputy Dango's Post-Mania Ascension (In Association With Konnor's Kure)
 

Today is the biggest event of the WWE calender year so far, that's right, BRAND NEW TPWW SURVIVOR FOR 2019!! Also I guess Wrestlemania is on?

Rules:

• Everybody selects TWO people from the WWE roster, ONE representing RAW and the OTHER representing SMACKDOWN, or, as SMACKDOWN has dominion over the sovereign state 205 Live you may take somebody from that show instead. No duplicates allowed. If the contest hasn't yet started, you can change your selection once by making a new post saying you're changing your selection (don't just edit your original post).
• Your wrestler is eliminated if he or she submits or is pinned during a televised match on Raw, SmackDown, 205 Live, Main Event or a Network (formerly PPV) event. Disqualifications, count outs, or being eliminated from a battle royal / Royal Rumble does not cause elimination. In multi-man matches (tag, triple threat, etc.), only the person who is pinned or submits is out. NXT does not count and NXT exclusive wrestlers are wasted picks. Main roster WWE Network Specials (ie. Tribute to the Troops) DO count.
• In the event of a match finishing via KNOCKOUT, the Small Council of Elders have met and come to the majority decision that from season XXVII onwards a KNOCKOUT will count as an ELIMINATION. This will effectively be a slight nerf to the character Roman Reigns.
• Your wrestler will also be eliminated if he or she goes three weeks without having a televised match in a WWE ring for any reason whatsoever (injury, future endeavors, etc.). There is a constant countdown going on from your wrestler's last match, so even if bad luck happens - you can still potentially win as long as everyone else loses in that span. In the event of two or more competitors being eliminated on the same day due to this rule and that impacting on podium positions (rank 1-3), the wrestler positions will be determined by time of last performance (meaning main eventing is more valuable than opening). In addition, the three week ruling will occur at the end of a show if one is running concurrent to the cut off date, meaning anyone who loses on the show will place lower than whoever gets three week'd. If you suffer a ban for the length of the game you will be disqualified.
• If you win you get your choice of either first pick next season or two picks for the next season. If you take the option of two picks, you must wait until at least FIVE other people have selected in order to prevent you from becoming The Skippord. If you are inactive upon winning to the creation of the next season, you will not get first pick and instead get 2 picks. In accordance with previous versions of this rule, new seasons will only be created after a minimum wait period of two days.
• A wrestler must be an active participant in a match for it to reset the three-week timer. Lumberjacks, special referees, managers, "enforcers," guest commentators, etc. do NOT count.

Sign-ups are allowed until the start of the 15th April 2019 edition of WWE Raw at the start of the show, in the beginning of this night, right then, on Monday, April 15, on this day, eliminations will be eliminated, starting on this show, on the WWE television, in the genesis of McGillicutty.

Winning wrestlers must sit out 3 seasons before returning. BRAAAAAAUN is out for winning Season 30. Rezar is out for winning Season 31. "Shy Guy" Ronda Rousey is out for winning Season 32.

I will be participating in the game, but in the interest of fairness, I won't make my pick until at least ten pairs wrestlers have been selected and will then choose Fandango.

For winning season XXXII, DaveWadding has seen the path well trodden by The Fallen King, Gertner and The Juggernaut, TeamXtremist and decided he shall not fall into the same pitfalls as our former champions. Once at least FIVE selections have been made, he shall make TWO PAIRS of picks. May The Gods have mercy on us. Winter is here. The wall has fallen. Just try to survive.

Lock Jaw and Owenbrown had both of their guys straight up switch shows.
Sixx and Damninator have two Raw wrestlers, which puts them both in a flex position.
teamXtremist now has two Smackdown wrestlers, which is what he feared would happen to him last season.

Unrelated to the ShAkEuP but DaveWadding has already lost his advantage completely as Balor and Peyton Royce ate some carb-free pins.

The Fandango Experience apparently still closed because I guess they are going to bring him back after AEW becomes the new #1 to pop a rating.

As there is not a show this weekend, 39 NPCs and 5 Main Characters have been 3 week'd from the game.

Alistair Black needs to wrestle on RAW to stay in. Heavy Machinery need to wrestle anywhere. Owens, Woods and some Smackdown girls also on the clock.
After splitting the Riott Squad and Sanity in the draft, none of them have even made an appearance, which isn't really anything new for Sanity. Actually, half of those who have switched brands have not wrestled since.

This roster is ridiculously bloated.

I haven't watched a full WWE show in years because it was so unenjoyable, I used to check out things that sounded good (or so bad I had to see for myself) but now the product has got to a point where I groan checking the results. I completely checked out reading the opening of this week's RAW.

Legit all the WWE I have seen over the past year has been the finishes to tag matches on main event. I'd be a huge Ascension guy if they weren't awful.

Official ruling on the 24/7 "title":

While it is unlikely to have a significant impact on this current season, due to the nature of this "championship" a lot of undercard acts are going to be getting "pinned" in "matches", however, unless said match is presented as such (ie. it's in the ring / has entrances / it's promoted) then anybody taking part in a 24/7 title "match" (ie. a backstage segment / a run in) will NOT have their timer reset, even in the event of WINNING the championship. In spite of this, any "champion" who loses the title via pin or submission WILL be eliminated.

My reasoning for this is:
a) Drake Maverick chasing R-Truth around an Airport every week on TV for the next two years is a viable scenario and should not be rewarded
£) I'm not reading full, detailed recaps to see which of the 151 original pokemon / roster members had a spot in a backstage skit on a show I have no interest in watching
2) If you get pinned like a fucking jobber you're a fucking jobber and you ain't no SURVIVOR SON GET THE FUCK OUT
