Despite not coming up as a wrestling fan, she had the ability to really connect. She always looked like she was having fun, and it made her likable in a way most of the models turned diva couldn't hope to achieve.

One thing that actually impressed me with Ashley was that, for the Diva Search, she actually did train to be a wrestler. Then... they sent her out way before she was ready. It's a shame.

I believe Reby could not care less about Ashley passing, which is why I believe she wasn't happy or gloating based on two emojis. I think Reby was not effected in the slightest one way or the other.

That being said, it's Reby so the fact that people are gonna call her out, you can damn sure know she is coming back with full rage and hostility!

Survivor was her favorite show, so I'm glad she got to watch the finale.

Saw Ashley with a whole bunch of other ex-WWE women hanging out together at WrestleCon last month. Rochelle Loewen, Katie Lea, Kaitlyn, etc. Life can change in a hurry.

Thinking back to those mid-2000s Diva Searches.

Cringe as they may have been...Ashley, Layla, and Christy Hemme were all obvious winners from the second they were introduced because they stood out from the pack and offered something different from the rest of the competitors who were basically just "generic pretty girls".

Obviously a ton of them got hired anyway but it's not a surprise that the ones that actually stuck around were the ones that showed personality (Maria, Maryse).

Apparently WWE is claiming that Ashley reached out to them last year pretty much to apologize for being involved in the class-action CTE lawsuit against the company.

The wording makes it seem like they are trying to absolve themselves of any possible blame for any issues that happened during her time there and any potential lingering effects that may or may not have played a role in her death.

Not that I condone it in the slightest, and WWE are scumbags for allowing her to be put in that position, but it's the same issue the armed forces haven't been able to do much about for years. While it's horrible, WWE shouldn't be held to a higher standard than the armed forces in that regard.

It sucks it happened to her on WWEs watch and that they didn't do more for her, but disgust should be attributed to the whole epidemic of that behavior being ignored because it happened "over there" instead of solely at WWE.

If that wasn't basically accepted behavior then both Ashley and WWE would have had the ability for much more recourse and justice.

It's a shame she didn't have the evidence to back up her claims if the incident did happen. It's a shame that sexual assault doesn't often come with much evidence. It's also a shame that the military and WWE are so fucked about this.
