According to Fightful, official reason why Ziggy is suddenly feuding with Kofi and facing him at the next Saudi show is due to Owens refusing to travel to Saudi Arabia.

May or may not be related to the Saudi government banning Sami Zayn from their shows due to his outspokenness regarding their involvement in Syria and Yemen wars and atrocities going on.

You know what story we should put that loser who couldn’t win the belt for 11 years into? One with a person who couldn’t win the belt for 14.

WWE should just create a new division, WWE Legend world tour.

Zero house shows, just a few matches/specials on the network every so often. Then they could make the Saudi show be one of their shows, let all the old timers get that big paycheck they are all after, and avoid any of the current roster having to choose between morals and a paycheck.

Add Bryan, Aleister Black, and Sami to the pile of those not going to the next Saudi show based on reports from Post Wrestling and the Observer.

Holy shit, props to Aleister Black. Sami Zayn isn't allowed to go, and Bryan is an established guy that WWE aren't going to smoosh into the mud. Black is new on the main roster and taking a stand. Fucking A.

I love this idea actually.

The idea sounds very interesting although you'd be risking the current roster missing out on some potential big pay days.

Like if the next Saudi show is Legends-only, then your taking away a pay day from them that very likely will be higher than Mania. Supposedly WWE is getting paid way more than Mania's best gates for these shows ($40-$50 million range) and they were splashing around 6-7 figure deals to get talent to show up.

Match up current talent that wants to go and put them in matches with legends that want to go. There aren't enough legends to do a whole show with anyways.

Observer revealed the official reasons for Black, Bryan, and Owens not going to the next Saudi show.

Black isn't going due to issues with some of his religious-like tattoos and laws Saudi Arabia has regarding the public display of religious iconography. Currently not known if he was banned by the Saudi government or WWE prevented him from going in order to avoid any potential problems.

Bryan isn't going for the same reason he didn't go last time. He doesn't feel comfortable being associated with the recent incidents of Saudi's de facto ruler bin Salman and is against the ban placed on WWE's women's division for these shows.

Owens isn't going due to his family not feeling comfortable with him going to the country and is against the ban placed on Sami Zayn for these shows.

Black should borrow Nakamura’s gear.
