I'm going into this with an open mind. I'm also comparing it to WWE's shit product lately. I'm not expecting the greatest thing ever from AEW. But i do expect a ground level for which a product can be built on the TNT channel.

It's extremely easy to think that AEW simply needs to have something " going on". Truth is, TNA has something going on and it's not good enough. AEW needs a huge showing. This is a big deal. They have to have a big show. I'm expecting a major person showing. Ambrose or Punk will show for sure. They have to make a mark on this show. Otherwise, they are simply TNA.

:-\ Baring any sudden changes, looks like I'm going to miss watching this live except maybe for the last hour or main event if I'm lucky.

I downloaded BR on my roku just in case I decide to pay 50 bucks for it. on the fence

Id honestly do it for $40 like all in was on Fite, the extra 10 bucks is weirdly making it a hard decision

I also wonder if the next two shows listed (fyter fest on 6/29 and fight for the fallen on 7/13) will cost $50..

I'm a cheap ass but I'll probably buy it. I'll determine it during the pre show if the production seems worth it.

I dont think Ambrose is going to AEW. I'll be legit shocked. I just dont think the WWE does what they did for Dean " leaving ", knowing there was any chance he would go to AEW ( does that make sense? ).

WWE didnt owe Dean anything. The moment they knew he was really leaving, they could have benched him. Instead they ran him out there in storylines and produced " going away " pieces for WWE network. As petty as Vince is these days, there is no way Vince would sign off on all that bullshit, knowing Dean Ambrose was headed to AEW.

Rumors say he tried to leverage AEW against WWE and it didnt work. WWE could have extended his contract out for the time he was out due to injury but they didn't.

Comcast is still showing this as $60 for the PPV. Which I still think is nuts.

Not gonna sign up for anything else just to try to save a few extra bucks.

This will probably be a last minute purchase. But I was really hoping that the price would have gone down a good amount and I would have this pre-ordered.

I can't spend that on a PPV. Any PPV. That's ridiculous to me.

WWE may be shit but I'm getting all their PPVs for 120 a year. If AEW keeps their pricing I'd surpass that in a couple months if I ordered their shows. I just can't do that for an untested product. You might could convince me to spend 25 on it. MAYBE.

I am splitting this with a friend and we are giving it a go. I really hope it is successful. I don't want them comparing themselves to Vince and Co on the PPV at all. Just entertain me. It's not that hard.

Got the pre-show on record as it’s on free TV over here. I’ll catch the PPV on a stream after the event as it’s on at silly o'clock in the morning and I have work tomorrow. If it’s any consolation I spend £5 a month on WWE by sharing the network so it’s not like I’m giving them a lot of £££ either.
