Guess that explains how Smackdown is affected by Vince's new rule for the split-screen stuff. Split-screen ads keeps the wrestling going and regular ads likely won't.

WWE is extremely lazy with how they handle title feuds, especially when it comes to needing a reason for actual title matches.

That 8-man tag match was pretty much useless. Could have been just a Heavy Machinery vs. Sami & Owens tag match if that was the goal for the end.

So for every commercial break, action stops in the ring. With the exception of the sometimes split screen action.

Feel like WWE is in 'trainwreck mode' more and more...

Vince McMahon made a new edict last Monday that there can no longer be any wrestling during commercials because "real sports don't have action during commercials."

So WWE has been using a bunch of arbitrary workarounds to get around the rule (elimination matches, 2 out of 3 falls, random match restarts)

2 weeks into this new commercials rule and Post Wrestling's John Pollock was right about this leading to wrestlers taking a lot of unnecessary pins and losses because of how disorganized WWE is.

Vince mandated no wrestling during commercial breaks from now on (unless split screen)

so if match is not over wrestlers quit wrestling and just stand in the ring while promos air for things on the tron

Well, watching on TV, I don't mind the commercial stuff. Must be a bitch live.

Yeah. Reports coming out are the ring goes dark, commercials air on the 'tron, wrestlers would come out and cut a promo, some other stupid shit.

Yeah tbh I think it's a good idea... last night's show seemed to "flow" better because of it.

But all of the workarounds are getting kinda ridiculous and it's almost causing more problems than it's worth

Last night there was a Ricochet vs. AJ Styles match, which started at 10:40... but then they had Gallows & Anderson come out a few mins into the match and AJ Styles kicked them out from ringside and the match was "restarted" so they could go to commercial, so the match only ended up getting like 10 minutes of time

Shane also defeated Roman Reigns via pinfall at SUPER SHOWDOWN
