Tag title match was decent overall.

That picked up pretty well towards the end, but that has to be the worst tag match on Takeover in years. They have been great every time since at least 2016.

Baszler's style of wrestling and her booking doesn't really fit NXT's style. Outside of a couple matches against Kairi and Io, her big matches end up feeling very underwhelming the majority of the time.

Ending was pretty decent but Io vs Candice blew the Women's title match out of the water in terms of entertainment.

So far feel like this has been the worst TakeOver in a long time

The 2nd ever TakeOver and London might have been worse but yeah I'd put this one near the mid to lower half of TakeOvers soo far.

Io vs Candice and NA title match were very good but the Tag title match and Women's title match were average at best. Was a big mistake having the tag title as the opener.

NXT title match is easily going to be near an hour long but the pace has been dragging too much right now.

Gargano is both the smartest and dumbest person in this match.

Smartest for realizing the first fall was going way too long so beat the shit out of Cole to end it and soften up Cole for a quick second fall.

Dumbest for quickly stopping the beating and wanting a long and drawn out brawl instead.

The Street Fight part of this match was great.

It's gonna be hilarious when Baszler finally drops the title, & the MMA Muties are all "OMG WTF, Shayna just got buh-huh-huh-huried!"

NXT title match was pretty great overall. First half was somewhat dull but the second half was amazing.

Scariest part of that finish was Gargano holding a piece of barb wire during the fall since that could have gone horribly wrong for either guy.

Match was pretty good (would have been better if I didn't feel like "I've already seen it") but that felt like easily the worst TakeOver in recent memory

I guess this confirms why Io was punked out to Baszler - it was because she was Face.

I actually wasn't crazy about this show, just watched it. It wasn't bad or anything just felt like things I had seen before.

Main-Event, while enjoyable, was overbooked and under-sold. Adam Cole gets hit with a sledgehammer and then has zero trouble climbing a cage, which would be hard to do with injured ribs???

Shayna is boring af at this point but any time they've built someone up to believably beat her (which Mia was not) they never go w/ it. The last one who could have been believable was Bianca Belair.

Yeah, Belair shouldn't have lost and they should have faced off this year at Takeover Mania....

Only match I didn't like was Women's title match. The first women's match was much better. The cage match was ridiculously over the top (but not literally) but I think it's good way to end Gargano/Cole which is how cage matches used to be utilized
Also I didn't watch live but I suffered from a really annoying 1.5 second or so audio delay for all 3 hours. Never had that problem before, hoping it's not a new feature with the network upgrade. I logged out, turned Roku off, tried to Chromecast, tried to watch it on my phone.. every way had the audio delay

Io was plenty believable, but not going with her led to Black Lotus Io, so I'm fine with it.

Got done watching Io vs Candice.

Just gonna reiterate.

Still seems to me like they're just trying to stall for time to set up for 4 Horsewomen vs 4 Horsewomen feud on the main roster and still treat it like it's a big surprise.

Duke and Shafir being Shayna's hired goons, isn't getting us to that fued any quicker. They're pretty much a joke at the moment.
