Sasha was the star, even while Charlotte was champ, up until she got called up as Bayley was becoming champ. Charlotte, probably unfairly, but it took a lot before she could get past being Ric's daughter, meaning when she felt bigger than just Ric's kid, and it certainly wasn't until after NXT.

It was Paige, then Sasha, then Bayley, then Asuka. Ember was there for a month or two, and it's been Shayna since.

Corbin vs Cedric was pretty good overall.

Might be the first time Corbin has strung together two good matches in a row on the main roster.

I am not trying to discredit 2014 Charlotte, but Sasha was the one that the division was running through.

Also, Ember was positioned there, not for long before getting called up, but I think the plans were there for her to be the next one. Then she got pulled up and that was it. Not saying she would have been, but they were starting down that path.

Still don't feel it was centerpiece tier which is what Becky was stating. I'd argue there have only really been 4 centerpieces to NXT's women's division with Paige, Bayley, Asuka, and Baszler as it.

Like Becky has been the top women's star for months on the main roster but Charlotte still comes off as the real centerpiece based on how Becky's been treated overall.
