Rowan gave a promo talking about the lack of respect people have for him only to get interrupted by Bryan who demanded an impromptu match with Rowan.

Looks like they are experimenting with new cameras and camera angles this week ahead of the big move next week.

They may have either reduced the frame rate - or they're just dropping frames. Doesn't look as crisp.

With WWE's habit to go overboard with adverting stuff, USA Network has been pretty chill with the amount of free exposure WWE is giving to rival network FOX.

Last time WWE switched networks, they managed to quickly piss off Spike TV with going overboard with the amount of USA Network mentions and getting censored in the process.

This Mike Kanellis storyline has arguably been the worst storyline WWE has come up with in recent years. Old Day and This Is Your Life Bayley were horrendous but those were just a one-night skits.

FOX broadcasts are 720p, it's possible WWE is testing tonight shooting in 720p with it upconverting to 1080i being still on USA. I really don't know though

Personally I was hoping 720p on fox would make SD look better than RAW since progressive is better for fast moving action than interlaced

Someone told me they are filming 24 frames per second vs 50 frames per second, which is what they did before.

Yeah that's what it looks like... good for movies but really stupid for wrestling / "sports" stuff

AFAIK, it's 1080p since the redesign.

On the bright side, at least they didn't borrow any cameras from FOX since they could have been stuck with the lower tier ones FOX uses for 4PM football games.

Smackdown would have looked a lot more duller and darker greenish tone on tv.

For all the good stuff Smackdown has had in recent months, it also had an equal share of really terrible stuff like this never ending Owens-Shane feud and the general treatment of its women's division.

Burch/Oney vs. Gulak/Nese match was really good overall. Same for 205 Live tonight.


No mentions of them moving although I did miss the first few minutes to get some snacks. Based on PWI's report, doesn't seem anything about it was mentioned during that time.

Couldn’t stand the camera work. Made it hard to watch.
