Read elsewhere that AEW adding in Omega vs. Janela for the card managed to sell out whatever remaining tickets were left for the show.

the timing in this match has been a bit off.

Private Party vs Lucha Bros was great.

Damn that was a HOT OPEN. Love the Lucha Bro's. They just schooled Private Party, whom are fantastic but still have a long way to go. They are sloppy and got gassed but still really fucking cool.

Bit surprised they are getting both tag tournament matches done this quickly into the show.

Hot take: AEW doesn't need Jim Ross. Tony Schiavone is better r/n.

He did mention before of eventually shifting over into a backstage role for AEW but they wanted his name power and experience in the booth for the short term.

Of course that was before they hired Sciavone and had big plans for Alex Marvez in commentary.

I liked the Super Smash Brothers. I knew they couldn’t keep their name but their gimmick was fun. The Dark Order just don’t feel like they fit at all.

Only downside with this AEW tag tournament was Dark Order having to wrestle an extra match for a 1st round bye didn't have a good payoff in the end.

Omega vs Janela was very good overall. Didn't top their Unsanctioned match on AEW Dark but that was always going to be tough task as a regular match.

First hour breezed by as seems to normally be the case.
