I'm not going to dignify this with a Google
Sweet Stan Lane's hair was as natural as yours and mine.
Anyone that says any different can go kick rocks. Anyway, did any wrestlers actually wear a wig? |
Kane
|
Kurt Angle did.
|
Also do you consider WWE Hall of Famer, President Donald Trump a wrestler for this question?
|
Molly Holly.
|
Serious answers only lads.
This is a very serious issue. |
Those are all serious answers. Still need clarification on the President also.
|
I can see you think I'm joking,
when in fact I am just choking, On that old wig hair... |
Being Nashvember and all.
|
Doink
|
Sasha banks is nearly bald and wears some type of weave.
|
Bruno Sammartino and Killer Kowalski did
|
Goldust.
|
Hogan in the nwo for a period of time was wearing a wig for some reason.

Hahahahahaha
|
Not sure, but I'm guessing Santino did as his "twin sister" Santina.
|
Also, Undertaker supposedly wore one c. 2012 after having his real hair cut short during 2011, and it looked pretty noticeable for a good while after his 2004 return to his classic gimmick that he wore extensions to help his hair grow long again after having it shorter as the American Badass.

My first ever wrestling forum username was ScottishBad@ss and it makes me feel terribly lame remembering it.
|
There's a WWF match from All Star Wrestling around 1984 where Iron Mike Sharpe fights a job guy and his toupee comes off.
I'll try and post the video later Lol he filed a lawsuit over it. https://www.upi.com/Archives/1983/09...3323431236800/ |
The most hotly anticipated video in wrestling forum history...
I bet it looks amazing. |
https://www.dailymotion.com/video/x30f691
I knew Jim Cornette and Kenny Bolin had beef but I had no idea it was this crazy. You've probably heard it but that is 40 minutes of Jim Cornette destroying the most absurd man I think I have ever heard. Jerry Jarrett actually says something like "While we're doing this I just have to make sure you know you are destroying your reputation." Bolin thinks he's winning. Completely insane/hilarious/tragic. |
Lol I love Starmaker. He's hit on my girlfriend on facebook lol
|
Cornette seems to fall out with him every few years and then they make up.
Makes his hatred for some others seem very strange but I suppose we all have someone like that in our lives. I just unsubscribe to wrestling with wregret and whatculture over the Cornette Ethiopia commentary. I think this is where I draw a firm line. If he made that joke about Eastern Europe people would have loved it. |

Last match of the show. Watch the Muraco/Snuka angle that starts the show. So great. Muraco is the greatest. |
His impressive hatred for Backlund has won my heart.
|
LOL, waiting for that wig to come off is so tense. He man handles his hair so much you have to think he was trying to tear it off.
|
Ahahahahaha he stamps it off in the corner and you can see the guy pull it back on.
To be fair it takes a lot of abuse. That's a quality garment. |
Shit like this occupies a spot in my brain and yet anything above basic math does not.
|
I was really hoping the clothesline would send it flying, you know?
It's a wonderful clip though. Iron Mike Sharpe clearly worked the hair extra because he's a big rascal. I wonder if someone put him up to it, could even have been Vince. |
Lol I was thinking the same. He's clearly tugging the shit out of it, which I can't imagine felt very good for Mr. Gray
|
I think you should send that in to Arcadian Vanguard
|
Lol I can't stand Brian Last. He's turned into such an insufferable twat.
I do enjoy John Arezzi's podcast though. |
I like him.
Please tell me you like Conrad Thompson at least. |
I just find his shtick annoying. Not a fan of the Conrad podcasts. I'll listen to Jim Ross if it's something I'm interested in like 1997 WWF.
|
The episode where Conrad loses his shit at Bischoff for perpetuating the "Sting wasn't tanned enough" lie is one of my favourite things ever.
Pure rage. |
Between the Sheets is my favourite podcast. I've never missed and episode and subscribe to their Patreon page. Love it. It runs between 5-7 hours long so it takes up a lot of my time.
|
I'll tell you what is worth checking out - "Crime in Sports".
There are a lot of wrestler episodes and despite the podcasters being a bit stupid and not particularly funny the majority of the info is good. They make some stupid mistakes but there's nowhere else I've found to hear in depth about the dreadful crimes of Bob Sweetan, Buck Zumhofe, Dick Slater and about ten others. It's not a fan cast, it's purely about the crime. |
Jim Neidhardt was a good episode
Best one might be Bruiser Bedlam/Tara's Bulba/Johnny K9 though. That guy was a maniac. |
Amazing.
|
Yeah give it a go, the two podcasters grow on you eventually. I know Scott Hall, Jake The Snake, Kerry Von Erich, Chris Adams are in there too.
Jimmy Snuka was their first wrestler. |
Just downloaded Chris Adams and Kevin Stevens(crackhead hockey player)
|
The thing that kills me about Zumhofe is that he was arrested and went to jail for having sex with a minor in 1986 and does 3 years. Guess whose fucking television he shows up on right after? The AWA. Can you imagine that happening nowadays. He also did t.v jobs in the WWF into the mid 90s (he was HHH's first opponent)
|
Hardbody Harrison is in there too, and Sunny.
I think that's it though. |
Haha oh god I'll have to download Hardbody and hear about his prostitution ring.
|
Quote:
Him and Sweetan just edge out Hardbody Harrison as the most disgusting bastards of the lot. Don't tell Stevie Ray I said that though. |
The MMA ones are pretty good too, Jimmy Whissman laughs so hard during one that he pukes in a bin.
Brandon Saling, the neo nazi mma fighter. |
16:07 for some quality stereotyping. |
Celebrate that shit because if he said it now he'd lose his job.
|
Quote:
|
Actually maybe go back 30 seconds before that, Pat Patterson is just bigging up how islanders all walk barefoot all day and putting out cigarettes with their bare feet in New York is standard practice.
|
I just wanted to point out that stereotyping is not the same as prejudice and absolutely can be used to put over a wrestler.
|
My dad told me to Google Oinkette #2 before he died.
I did, and then she died so it felt disrespectful to tell anybody until a good time after. ... and boy did we have a good time after. |
That's heavy shit, man
