Also WWE almost broke their bad habit of opening promos to start the show by having Corbin interrupt the match entrances to blabber about stuff.

I thought when Ronda returned she might come back to RAW for another feud with Becky Lynch...but with her being on 9-1-1 on FOX and SD needing more starpower in the female face division, she could come back to face top heels Sasha and Bayley.

FOX probably would be pissed if Ronda went to RAW since that would be the 2 biggest stars they wanted for their brand, Lesnar and Ronda, being given to RAW instead.

Women's tag match was decent but this Lacey vs. Sasha/Bayley feud still sucks.

Ali's vignette was pretty great.

This main event match soo far pretty much sums up WWE's handling of tonight's #1 Contender's match. Way too much filler and junk just for the sake of it.

Baring what happens in the next 10 minutes, its been Smackdown's equivalent of RAW's Gauntlet match in terms of being a big mess.

How many times did the main-event change tonight, 4 or 5?

Despite all the garbage attached to it, Bryan vs. Miz was pretty good match overall. Zero reason at all why Corbin and his Reigns feud ever needed to be associated with this #1 Contender's match since it just dragged things down.

Smackdown itself was average at best.

These "Best of" shows for 205 Live the past 2 weeks just exposing how badly damaged the brand became once NXT went live and post-Draft.

Yeah. Wonder how long till WWE ruins it. The stuff with Ziggy might have been the start.

I take that back, the entire show. If AEW put on a show this quality there'd be fans who never stopped moaning about it. The toxicity of fans on Twitter is really sad. It's like WWE is a cult to them.

The Ziggler thing seems good I think... Classic timeless bully storyline...

Do you think it's mostly WWE fans or mostly like the Jim Cornette-type nerds...

Also :lol: at them not even bothering airing the whole match despite the others before it were full matches.

Thought at first them ending with Lio Rush vs. Raul Mendoza was a poor choice since it was decent but not as good as the Drake Maverick vs. Mike Kanellis match before it which was way better and had the crowd way more into it.

Whoever it is, they are very vocal and it's super toxic. AEW gets blasted for anything, "damned if they do, damned if they don't"

Seeing lots of people bitching about AEW/Kris Statlander keeping her indy dates, like it is a terrible thing AEW doesn't want to put indies out of business and keep a good working relationship with them all.

Same token saw a 'popular' tweet commanding WWE for putting UK indy companies out of business bc "that is growth and business and what any company should do"

I've seen people blame AEW for hurting the indies more than WWE does and claiming AEW "killed" ROH despite neither really being true.

AEW's been way more receptive when it comes to their talent having outside bookings and even encourages them to take indie dates to improve their in-ring work. WWE's been hostile even towards their own affiliate promotions when it comes to talent being booked for indie dates. Most recently was them pulling Toni Storm from a show PROGRESS had her booked for weeks because they decided at the last minute for her to be at Survivor Series.

AEW did have a big affect on ROH but their struggles post-MSG show were all on them due to their stupid booking decisions.

Lol oh stop. AEW fans get their panties in a twist and go full on nerd rage the moment ANYTHING gets said bad about AEW.

The Miz gets shit all the time for being a shitty wrestler. But, in the kayfabe world of WWE, there is nothing conceptually wrong about the idea of a Miz/Bryan match. The Dark Order shit is atrocious and has been going since day one of AEW.

It's also not just one botch, it was about a dozen or so awful fucking punches that highlighted that someone in a main event angle had no clue what they were doing. It was unprofessional as hell -- not just a simple mistake.
