That opening segment was good.

Even better, it didn't lead to some random match right afterwards involving those in the segment.

100% thought we were going to plants in the audience to back up Moxley. But I love that they didn't and kept Moxley as the lone wolf.

The Triple Bs being nothing more than guns for hire is probably the best direction for them for the time being considering how botched their debut was.

B&B vs. Young Bucks was very good.


They can be very divisive depending on your tastes and how you view their marketing abilities.

Pretty much comes down to how much you like modern style wrestling, especially the tag variety. They are among the best at it and have been very successful when it comes to marketing it on the indies.

Sabian vs Cody was very good overall.

That would have been good without the hijinks.

The Janella cameo was funny

Everything in that match seemed sloppy but was still entertaining

I think Sabian has got something. Ideally he goes over Janella and starts getting some momentum.

They mentioned before about how it works more like ESPN Power Rankings or sports rankings in general than something like being #1 automatically means your next in line for a title shot.

So Cody could be the top ranked wrestler in all of AEW but still can't get a title shot because that #1 ranking doesn't automatically give him one.

God damn it, (Doctor) Britt Baker, heel dds is sooooo much better and more interesting than smiley face "hey guys I'm a dentist isn't that cool?" schtick she was one.

Is TNT's new Snowpiercer series supposed to be like the Polar Express film but if everything was more evil or darker in tone?

Also based on commercials for their shows, TNT has way more interesting sounding ones than USA Network. No wonder USA Network has been getting desperate with wanting more WWE shows for their network.

Pac is a star. These vignettes have been great. They need to do this for more guys.

That PAC promo video was pretty cool.

Going to assume PAC doesn't own any regular clothes and just constantly wears his gear out in public.

Pac is going to be a fun heel champion when he gets there.

I like to think that about every pro wrestler.

Britt Baker as the worst type of person you'll ever meet at a chain restaurant is great. She's had one too many cheap, sugary cocktails and the hot takes are <i>flying</I>.

I guess they realized that the audience was usually just watching the AEW main event and switching over for just the end of the NXT main event in the overrun

Main event was really good. Poor Darby being brutalized.

Very entertaining show this week.

Outside of the SCU vs. Hybrid match, everything ranged from pretty good to great.

Both of the women's stuff tonight were good and didn't fall in the buzzkill trap like most weeks. Hopefully the Nightmare Collective are getting a creative overhaul on the sidelines like the Dark Order got to become better in the end.

Was last week the season premiere of Miz & Mrs. That might have been why last week's NXT got the over-run and not this week since USA Network could afford the hit on viewers for the new Miz season.

Going to cost NXT this week around 100k-200k viewers for the end number but they only really lose out on a few thousand for the final average itself according to the Observer.

Not my favorite episode but nothing bad. Great finish for the main event and great promo from Pac.

Based on the spoilers, looks like next week's Dark episode is going to be interesting in the sense that the Nightmare Collective did something pretty good for once.

Going to try and give AEW a go this week. Liked the show two weeks ago, but hated the sounds of the boat party, so I gave that a miss.

This week's show was alright imo... Relatively uneventful and felt like the first kinda "filler" show in a while

* Hearing JR's voice is immediately welcome.

* Boat show looked like shit.

* The Bunny not a good talker. Hot in the outfit.

* Smart having Moxley come through the crowd. It was his WWE gimmick and it shows that there are a lot of people there.

* Crowd so white.

* You can tell Jon Moxley is a product of the WWE's developmental system.

* WWE-style promo. A good one, but a WWE-style one.

* Fans singing along with his theme. Fucking hell. Why do wrestling fans have to be like this?

* Urge to quit. I'm going to try and fight it.

* Jericho's promo uncharacteristically bad. This is WWE scripted stuff.

* Lol, Inner Circle have an nWo-style voiceover in their theme.

* Mox doing a lamer version of the Owens/Joe stuff on Raw.

* Jericho the only natural swearer on the roster.

* Moxley stopped by the invisible wall.

* This is so bad.

* Moxley is ZANY!

* Lol, Excalibur looks so ridiculous and is an awful commentator.

* What about this first segment couldn't have happened on a bad edition of Monday Night Raw?

* Holy fuck, they've found a way to make MJF terrible. Fuck. Why does it have fucking music? Why the fuck did they think that looked good? ARGH!

* I'm mentally out, but I'm going to watch this match just for The Bunny, possible MJF antics and because I'm a masochist.

* MJF not knowing how to swim is...not a good look.

* Lol, The Bucks are literally 50/50 in AEW. They actually choose to advertise that during their entrance.

* Wait, they're actually teasing *death* for The Young Bucks? That's come up twice now.

* Why do I get the feeling that The Young Bucks will wrestle again for AEW and this will just be forgotten?

* Even The Blade has to do a dive.

* Eh, that match was just a stereotypical WWE-style match.

* Not a fan of Adam Page doing the Scott Hall gimmick.

Middle of the road Dynamite. I’m still invested in Jericho/Mox and Cody/MJF so I’m into riding it out to Revolution.

They need to do better on hot main events. Private Party and Proud and Powerful are not there yet.

Tbh I kept thinking about how Raw was more eventful than this episode throughout. Which is cool. Road to Rasslemania babay!

Glad I'm not the only one! Feels like if I said "Raw was better" people would start crying and call me a troll for holding that genuine opinion.

Nah, Raw was actually good this week. A few boring parts but they advanced the stuff the needed to and got two Mania programs started in earnest.

I didn't dislike AEW this week, but giving the nod to Raw is more than fair.

I'll check out NXT tonight if I've got time.

Less optimistic on SmackDown because of the lack of Heyman. Bruce Prichard is basically just throwing whatever Vince would like out there.

Haven't watched SmackDown in weeks, but I might give it a go, which would make it my first full week of WWE programming in years.

Hopefully Prichard gets nervous and steps it up. I mean, their ratings are holding, but I don't think SmackDown is going to want to get beaten by the show on basic cable.
