The best moment in AEW history was during one of their commercials. It was during an Orange Cassidy match and you could tell that none of the commentators gave a shit because they were just going out to FITE. Tony Shiavone compared himself to Orange Cassidy and JR said "Tony has his hands in his pockets, but the bottoms were cut-out long ago."

Nothing has topped that. Nothing will.

That might have been the best Sling Blade from Baker since she joined AEW.

These video packages for matches have been both very good and way more effective at eating up time than what WWE has been generally doing for their empty arena shows.

NXT sort of had the idea when they aired that mini-documentaries episode but missed the boat by not mixing in some new in-ring action.

Good for both AEW and NXT

Not a big fan of Michael Nakazawa's gimmick

Not sure what's worse, last week's impromptu gambling with money from wrestlers sweaty crotches or Nakazwa using a thong as a weapon from his sweaty crotch.

Match itself was pretty good although could have been a few minutes shorter.

I wonder if they can get Hangman out of the house.

Kinda dreading future Omega/Nakazawa tag matches.

That Hardy promo was pretty good until vanguard starting talking like r2d2.

Why are they airing two video packages each for the Cody/Spears and Moxley/Hager matches

That was a pretty good hype video for Cody vs. Spears.

Probably just something to eat up time while giving some extra hype for certain matches.

Supposedly they need to stretch out like 22-30 matches to mid-May for Dark and Dynamite.

I don't think there's been a match during the commercial break at all tonight.

I could see this being a week where NXT tops Dynamite in the ratings since they are airing a Takeover card.

I mean if they don't tonight they never likely will.

NXT has TakeOver branding on the show, but feels like they didn't really promote it as a TakeOver special... would have gotten bigger ratings if they called it a two week TakeOver special I think...

TNT and USA pretty much stopped doing that stuff around the time both AEW and WWE/NXT started running empty arena shows.

Supposedly advertisers stopped paying for those type of ads once sports started cancelling their seasons left and right.

Meltzer speculated the same since this week's NXT has the two biggest matches that would have been at TakeOver.

Then again, spoilers for the show also started popping up a couple hours before the show started since someone got a hold of the taping and uploaded it online.

Had CoronaMania not ruined things, NXT probably would have had a strong chance to beat AEW for TakeOver's go-home show.

Dynamite was pretty enjoyable overall. Not one of their stronger episodes in terms of ring action but the video packages and promos were one of their best.

Felt more like a filler to get to next week's show though but Jericho as guest commentator was way better than Omega and Cody.

Cody is so good at professional wrestling.
