What's with Triple H's recent fascination with live bands for TakeOver shows?
Also remember signing up to WWE's contest back in the day when they were giving away a house and not even bothering ordering the PPV associated with it. Think my dad was still upset from the first time he ordered a WWF PPV and ended up being very bored from it. |

On one hand, at least Shotzi didn't do another Coffin Drop type dive.
On the other hand, Shotzi almost got bent in half from that dive counter spot by Raquel. |
Love the house set. Tbh, vrowd is much louder/more engaged than they have been in the past couple weeks.

6-woman tag match was pretty good despite being a mess or sloppy at times. Probably should have been a pre-show match instead.

When they first mentioned a backlot style brawl for this NXT title match, was thinking more of the Cena vs. Eddie Guerrero brawl they had in a parking lot and not an actual wrestling ring being used.

This match has been all over the place in terms of quality.
NXT really has a serious kidnapping problem. First it was masked guys trying to kidnap a bunch of people and now Dexter Lumis just abducted the rest of Undisputed Era. |

Match didn't completely suck but it was easily in the low end of all-time TakeOver matches in terms of quality.
Never thought I'd see the day when main roster Creative would do a way better job with a wrestling idea than NXT Creative since both of NXT's cinematic matches were big misses. |

Kross' entrance would be way more epic if they ditched Scarlett's lip syncing part. It worked for the debut but makes it feel a bit goofy when she now only does it mid-song.

Calling it now. Kross will be champ on the main roster. Can see Vince having a raging clue for him after that match. He has the look, the charisma and a very high powered offense. He is going places is WWE.

Kross vs. Ciampa was decent to pretty good.
Outside of the Lee vs. Gargano match, this Takeover doesn't really feel that special so far. |
Karrion Kross came out of that looking very good. With him and Thatcher I think NXT has lots of potential for it's next phase.
Please move past UE/Gargano/Ciampa...it's time. |

Last time a women's match main evented a TakeOver was Bayley vs. Sasha in 2015. |

66 title matches so far counting tonight. Alexa Bliss is probably #2 since NXT started if you include the women's tag title for title matches. |

Why do a fluky finish though for the title change. Match was great up until that point. They did a similar fluky finish for Drake Maverick a couple weeks ago. TakeOver itself was pretty good overall. I'd put it more in the lower tier mainly due to only the Women's title match being great. |
