Did the Magic vs. Bucks game on TNT end late today since this Pacers vs. Heat game is running close to 3 hours long if it had started at its normal time?

Went and looked at hot tubs today, boys. Goin for it.

:lol: at the clock shenanigans during the last few seconds of the Heat-Pacers game. Pacers fouled to stop it at 5 seconds but then the clock suddenly showed 1 second instead and then went back to normal.
AEW's one hour of no NXT competition ended up being less than 30 minutes instead because of the Heat almost blowing a 20 point lead in the 2nd half. |

FTR vs. Private Party was pretty good.
Could have been a bit shorter though but still one of Private Party's better matches in AEW due to the lack of sloppiness on their end. |

8-man tag match was very good. Surprised Jungle Boy picked up the pinfall win. Guess that's the end of Death Square or maybe not.
Meanwhile, NXT did something a bit unique for their stage at Full Sail for tonight's Takeover show. Did a similar flashy lights thing with the big screen like WWE did for the ThunderDome and had flames shooting out as pyro. |

North American title ladder match has been pretty good so far but its also been one of the weaker ladder and/or multi-man matches in NXT history. No real pace or flow to this match but a bunch of cool looking spots thought. Edit: Ending was pretty good but those last few minutes or so was just all over the place in terms of quality. Women's Tag Cup Finals was decent despite the flat ending.
Think the only major thing the fake spoilers got right was Thunder Rosa showing up tonight but was completely wrong on how it would happen. Meanwhile on the NXT side, this Cole vs. McAfee match has been very good so far. McAfee has been way better than I expected in the ring. Its not really making Cole look as good though with how its been booked. Edit: Cole vs. McAfee match ended a minute or two after I wrote that post. Overall, best match on TakeOver so far. |

This week's show was very enjoyable overall. A very good mix of match and story building quality throughout the show. Only real weak point was AEW losing most of their 1 hour window before NXT's big show started and maybe the Britt Baker segment.

Yeah AEW is real good, especially when you compare it to the garbage we have had the past ten plus years. I mean they aren’t perfect but nobody is. Every company you can name had dumb/goofy/bad booking etc at their heights. It doesn’t bother me all that much. Plus they are VERY new. I love the direction they are going. Unpredictability is what really hooked me and a lot of people I know.
