Yeah also they were fun the first time WWE did it in 2000 and then maybe for a year after. Then it was dead.

Also I remember being so dissapointed in any Public Enemy match from ECW like Double Tables, stuff like that. They were really an "act of the time" because they f'n suck going back!

Still a great spot and a great match. Typical WWF in Philly hardcore match. Loved stumbling upon that match a few months back.

Yeah and why Tony Khan had that outburst on Twitter when he found out people were trying to break up group ticket packages on the resale market.

Whole purpose of group seating was so that people who normally live or hang out together stay safely in one spot and away from strangers to minimize any potential contact and coronavirus concerns.

Bucks vs. Nightmares portion of the Gauntlet match was decent to pretty good.

Keith Lee should have a gimmick where they show him going in for his yearly physical, but when he weighs in the scale reads 205 pounds by mistake because the scale is broke.

So Keith Lee decides to challenge for the 205 LIVE title and wins it since he weighed in as a light theavyweight, and during the matches the Doctor's keep trying to reweigh Keith but he dodges them or the scale gets broken by some weird accident.

I gotta go ahead and spout out my first negativity of the evening. I'm feeling so stale of about ALL of the AEW mid/lower card. From Dustin and QT to Janella, Dino stable and several others. I am all for AEW bringing on WWE cast off's and others to replace the crappy people they were forced to sign due to bad timing with several contract contenders when the company signed the first 30 or so wrestlers. Luckily rape and other scandals have gotten rid of some but it's unfortunate that Jimmy Havoc was one of those cut because he was awesome.

Something about this Gauntlet match feels really off. Like on paper, it looked like it was going to be a great match but so far its just going through the motions.

The live crowd not reacting as much isn't helping either.

Gauntlet match was pretty good I guess. Never really hit that next gear needed though.

Usually find squash matches to be a bit boring or tiresome to watch but something about Archer's squash matches in AEW have been very entertaining.

Probably because the way WWE has handled them over the years that mostly led to nothing in the end and a big waste of time or the person they picked for the special treatment being dull in some form.

I'd really like to know how they set that scene up/produced it. Was anything written, was it a structured improv with rehearsal or without? It was so well done it makes me feel like that there had to be some rehearsal at least, but it was so smooth.

AEW should have started off the show with that contract signing instead of the Gauntlet match since that would have been a much hotter start to the show.

Whatever, I'm just glad it's over.
