Card looks good and the show itself should be great although that's now 3 TakeOvers in a row with no Tag title match.

NXT and Triple H starting to feel like Vince when it comes to how they've been treating their tag title belts and division in recent months.

Good card. Particularly interested in seeing Kyle O'Reilly get a singles match with some time on it. And against Balor no less. Should be fire.

Hmmm. I’d say it’s the weakest card on paper that NXT have put out in a long while, maybe ever.

Breezango are the tag champs so its an even bigger joke

Ever since the belts got taken off of Undisputed Era and Pete Dunne couldn't travel because of coronavirus issues, NXT pretty much gave up on the idea of booking a good tag division.

Breezango getting the belts ended up being done solely to squeeze more juice from their feud with Legado Del Fantasma.

The Broserweights seems like a fever dream I had 5 years ago.

The new stage for NXT looks nice.

Not a fan at all of them actually bringing in a live crowd considering they only recently just came out of another outbreak at that PC. Might even have more people there right now than they did before.

I think the 'Capitol Wrestling Center' looks better than the 'Thunderdome' tbh

Yeah. At least in terms of the virtual crowd, having them all lined up on the wall instead of cascade style like with the ThunderDome looks better on tv.

Problem with the ThunderDome is the crowd looked good in certain cam angles and really bad in others because of the layout they went with.

NXT needs to dial back on the fake crowd audio since its just drowning out the real crowd reactions and at times, even the action in the ring.

The Capitol Wrestling Center has a grittier feel to it than Raw Underground ever has

Also I GREATLY appreciate that Kevin Dunn's does not appear to have control over the camera cuts

NXT title match was very good overall.

One of the better openers to a TakeOver in recent times.

Priest has always been real good, but the last 6 months or so he has been incredible. That was a damn good opener.

That's 2 matches that had shenanigans involved in some form so far on the show.

Gargano with the sneaky low bow spot and now Escobar having interference in his match.

Probably would have done that as well had they actually managed to snag the trademark from Cody at the time.

Instead they came pretty close to preventing AEW from being able to use that name for a show via legal actions.

Cruiser title match and its finish was great.

As long as Michael Cole style commentary is there it will always feel sterile too IMO

The fake background crowd noise is good imo, makes it much more lively... Otherwise would be really quiet for a lot of the time

This might be the weirdest produced show of WWE's coronaviurs era.

Virtual crowd with a live crowd mixed in and fake crowd audio mixed with live crowd audio. On top of that you have Vic Joseph providing live commentary at ringside with fake announcers next to him while Beth and Wade are providing live commentary via satellite.

NXT title match was great.

That might have been the first time no title changes happened at a TakeOver show.

TakeOver 31 was very good overall and would put it in the upper tier but not greatness tier for TakeOver shows. Only real negative was if this really was meant to be the start of a new era for the brand, the show didn't really feel like it in terms of ring stuff and booking. Like Ridge Holland beating up Adam Cole just took away some of the spotlight from a great match Finn and Kyle had just finished and doesn't scream "new era" style moment.

Took me until around the NXT title match to realize that was the real Vic Joseph in the booth and not just a look-alike fake one like the other announcers. At first thought his random echoing during the show was just some audio issues and not because he was yelling moves too loudly at times.

They have such a weird relationship with them. Seems Impact will let them use footage anytime WWE wants, they just have to put that "You can watch Impact on the Global Wrestling App", so not sure why they ignored that.

Still, that was a well done WWE 24 episode.
