In middle school i transitioned out of Hulkamania when I met this fellow fat white kid that loved wrestling like I did. He loved it more than I did. He had these Super J Cup VHS tapes that had Wild Pegasus and Lionheart. I was a much bigger fan of Wild Pegasus and we know how that ended. But i was a huge fan of Jericho too. I got copies of the tapes, but now they're probably useless because you can find that shit on Youtube probably. But those tournaments were fantastic.

I'm not feeling Jericho that much anymore. The dude looks like an overweight cop that chased an athletic black kid 2 blocks before giving up and ducking into a Dunken Donuts.

Well that likely means Sting’s “wrestling” debut with AEW will be a cinematic match or at least something carefully taped backstage. Figured that was about all he could do at this stage.

That segment didn’t do much for me.

But before that, man what an incredible opening twenty minutes. I didn't think it could have gotten more enjoyably goofy but then the failed "He Said Yes" celebration with the conga line of creepers happened.

Agreed tbh... a lot of the wrestling seemed really sloppy and "haphazard" tonight and seemed like a weird/off show in general

needed james storm going in kicking ass, tues impact gave them an opening they should have used it.

The opener was the best part of the show.

Am however intrigued by the makings of a Sammy babyface turn. Hope LAX eventually turn as well as they could have a fire face run.

mjf is the only heel on that team now, with the fans singing the jerico song that is a face.

Watched for a little bit. Jericho needs to hang it up, or seriously ramp up his efforts. Dunno what the fuck his flop off the ropes was supposed to be, but it definitely wasn't a Lionsault :(

My only concern with Santana and Ortiz going face is that AEW is stacked with babyface tag teams right now. After FTR, the Bucks had nobody to feud with.

They need more heel teams. I know Private Party looks like they're slowly turning but they're not ready to be the top tag team yet.
