Really looking forward to WALTER vs Ilja Dragunov. Their previous encounter was a riot.

I've looked over the card via WWE.com, doesn't seem too exciting. And WTF, I don't mind a Grimes/Knight title rematch, but making DiBiase become Knight's butler if Grimes loses? ��

Honestly wouldn't be shocked if Grimes got a DQ/countout/other BS finish to the match that results in a win, but one which keeps the title on Knight nonetheless.

That's an odd thing to fixate over. Have a feeling that you don't follow the product.

Guess Dakota Kai v. Raquel González for the women's title could be interesting. Breakup angle hasn't really seemed to go to far as of late.

Kross v. Joe looks kinda MEH but maybe Joe could elevate the match regardless of the outcome.

I hope Knight wins, then when Ted has to be Knight's Butler he just pays Virgil to do it :rofl:

I have no clue since I haven't been watching but just turned on takeover since it feels like the end of an era

LA Knight and Cameron Grimes seem like people Nick Khan would release, not big dudes and Knight is over 30 and neither has had a dark match on the main roster...

Grimes and Knight are doing a great job.

Grimes is champion. It's kinda amusing that the Million Dollar Championship is now a sanctioned title.

Kyle wanted the first fall to be a traditional singles match and immediately proceeded towards the steps.

WALTER vs. Ilja was awesome. Maybe even better than the great and brutal slugfest match they had last year in NXT UK.

Cole vs. O'Reilly was very good but that really didn't need to be a Best 2 out of 3 Falls.

The regular match and cage match parts felt way more anti-climatic than it should have been. The Street Fight part was sweet and what the match should have just been instead.

Cole/O’Reilly feud ends with “bullshit” chants. Oof.

Joe busting out his old Muscle Buster finisher was cool.

Got a chuckle out of NXT giving the rub of breaking Kross' undefeated singles streak in NXT to a former main roster guy instead of a new star built within to kick off NXT's next era.

Wasn't as bad as the time WWE gave the Mania streak killer rub Lesnar earned from beating Taker right back to Taker though for comparisons.

Watched the WALTER vs Ilja match. Wow! If wrestling were like that I'd watch again.

The muscle buster has always been one of my favorite moves since I first saw it. Glad to see Joe use it again.

Holy shit @ Walter/Ilja. What a match. 7/5 need moar nao.

At this time I think Joe looks a bit "old and slow". Not that he was bad at all, but I think his days of performing in his old style are at an end. If he wants to stay in the ring I'd like to see him adopt a more "chop, lariat and kick" style, similar to Walter or Kenta in his older days. In fact I think he should model almost all of his matches in the vein of his legendary match with Kenta. That match came to mind when watching Ilja and Walter last night.

I think it would be a smart move for NXT to begin a program that culminates in a Walter/Joe match for the NXT championship. I can see that match could easily come to the Kenta/Joe levels and Walter would be an amazing Champion for NXT moving into a new direction.

Very interested in Dragonuv after that match, that guy is awesome with his offense, selling and AMAZING fire. Quite a shame that he isn't in NJPW, Walter too, they would be such an asset there. I'm very curious to see the future of NXT, and NXT: UK. I can't imagine NXT UK making it through the new vision of NXT for WWE, but we shall see.

I'd love to see NXT UK developed into WWE UK or something similar, as a true brand for the UK and Europe. I think that with the right allotment of talent that UK and Europe would yield some great profits for WWE. They could use the talent already signed to UK but also send over some main roster talents to give the UK and European fanbase a draw to go to the show.

WALTER is fucking amazing.

Adam Cole will go to AEW. They can promise him creative freedom and provide some sort of plan for him. WWE doesn’t do that with talent. And that’s their own fault, but he’s taking way more of a gamble with WWE than AEW at this point.

Karrion Kross’ appeal has always been in Scarlett to me. Dude feels very uninspiring to me as his own guy, honestly. He kind of reminds me of Mike Bennett a lot.
