you can't just take a flag meant to be flown and put it over your shoulders and call it a cape imo. it's still a flag. bulldog had a special sequined cape made up with a neck tie thing and some wrist straps.

If you modified the sheet wrap around your neck, then yes, it was a cape. If you were just draping a sheet over your shoulders, then you were just a kid with a sheet.
Otherwise there are some yard sticks at my old house that need to be registered as lethal rifles. |

If your cape doesn’t hold up to the conditions of battle or even as you fly to a conflict, and it comes off too easy, then you lose your cape (and someone else might gain a sheet). It is beneficial to the cape-wearer to fasten the cape as best as possible.

So if it's draped on shoulders its a cape, and if it falls off, it becomes a sheet.

A cape should be one solid piece, so no sleeves, and no belt, and it should be free flowing, so it flutters when running.
