WINS MATTER!!!!
Well, unless you are talking about the Jaguars, then it's part of the rebuilding process :rofl::rofl:

To be fair, not being able to run a football team isn’t necessarily indicative of someone’s inability to run a wrestling promotion. His inability to run a wrestling promotion is indicative of that.
|
Nah. If someone fails miserably in the football business they should get out of the wrestling business.
... :shifty: |
Lol. This is just sad.

That has nothing to do with what I said.
The try-hard strikes again. |

Failure in football may not mean failure in wrestling, but failure in wrestling does. It has everything to do with what you said. Defend harder though. Come on, you can do it. |
This is clearly a football thread, dummy. Failure in wrestling is irrelevant.

Also, the Bengals and Panthers, but at least they got to the big game before losing! On the flip side, the Pussies (a cat reference clearly) have won 6 Super Bowls, although I think they prefer to be called Steelers  https://www.memesmonkey.com/images/m...7467b3fd6.jpeg |

I know you WANT everything to become a place for you to bitch about AEW. It’s the way of the try-hard. My post was about how failure in the football business pertains to wrestling and yours completely missed the point for the sake of another desperate reach.
We can go to another thread and talk about boobs who used daddy’s money and resources to become a wrestling promoter and brought their promotion to the brink of bankruptcy if you’d like though. ;) |

THIS IS A FOOTBALL THREAD!

So you just wanted to make the point that failure in wrestling means failure in wrestling. An astute response by Albert Noidstein. Grab your gold star and a cookie on your way out of the thread.
Now back to the football talk. |

For the Record, my last Football Thread was much better

 Amazing. Who needs to actually SAY smart things when you can just hype your “satirical sting”, arrogantly steal CyNick’s “swing and a miss!” catphrase, kick your feet back and bask in your cluelessly idiotic glory.

I did. Your rapid downfall over the past year has made me long for the days of CyNick. Reminding us all of better days when the resident “poster saying dumb things while acting like a genius” was slightly more tolerable was truly a dick move. I am cut and STUNG!
|
I also miss Droford. You wanna shave your head, sleep sitting up and turn your quest to lose your virginity into a whimsical adventure just to remind us all of better derps too, meany?
|
In retrospect, CyNick was a better poster than almost everyone here. I agree, bring back CyNick.

And me being so in touch explains why ratings keep dropping.

It's a mental disease to obsess over something you hate so much.
|
Wins matter, but not as much as everyone joining us tonight at 9pm as TPWW presents another evening of Classic Wrestling action with the pre show beginning at 8:30pm!
Be there or get AIDS! |
A good satirical sting is nothing compared to the sting you’ll feel when you read the reviews tomorrow morning and realize you missed the long-awaited return of Chief Wahoo McDaniel LIVE as it happened on TPWW.

You admit you don't watch the product, but go on incessantly about how terrible a product you refuse to watch is. You said you refuse to watch Omega/Danielson. I didn't enjoy AEW initially and didn't watch, but they have brought in Punk and Danielson and that got me to watch again and I've liked some of the changes they have made. There is still some stuff I roll my eyes at, but I was willing to give it another chance and see the positive changes they have made. I don't watch WWE much anymore, so I don't go in WWE threads and go on long winded diatribes about storylines, ratings, etc. when I don't really watch the product. I find it extremely peculiar and slapdickish that you do that for a product that you openly admit you do not watch.

I mean, I try to back up my opinions with evidence where I can. And I don’t care if people do/don’t like shit. I tend to focus on what does and doesn’t work. There is a difference there. If JamesSteele wanted to explain to me why Danielson vs. Omega and AEW are so great, instead of just asserting they are and insulting me for not agreeing, I’d love to hear it. I’ve explained why AEW has not endeared itself to me and why I cannot bring myself to care about Danielson in AEW. I also HAVEN’T critiqued the specifics of the Omega/Danielson match, because I haven’t seen it. I’ve criticised a promo between the two I saw on YouTube that I didn’t like and that the company hasn’t enticed me enough to give them further chances, which is a shame because I love Danielson. The response? “You don’t even watch. It’s actually good now and you can trust me because I used to actually agree with your points.” Okay, cool. |
Will you do one thing for me (us?); watch that match. Come back and critique it/rip it apart if you like. I think that would actually be a good read/contribution. What do you have to lose by watching it? Hate it and it’s more evidence that AEW isn’t for you. Love it and you can write it off as “even a stopped clock is right two times a day” and the rest of the stuff they do is shite.
