TPWW Universe, voting for this year's Sheetys Awards is officially open.
Similar to the previous ballot, voting will be done via Google and only counting votes done in the form. I like how xRod and TNARick assume this must be some sort of grand conspiracy and in xRod's case to help bail out AEW when the opposite is true after cleaning up all the invalid spammed votes.
Plus I already have a very strong feeling who did it considering they did a terrible job hiding the incriminating evidence against them. |

Think that would mess up the tracking or something for that award.
Happened once before when I misspelled Loose Cannon for an award and corrected it afterwards but then the numbers ended up being a bit wonky when it came to pulling up the final numbers and tally compared to the other awards numbers at the time. |

An AEW fan would vote every good category in favor of WWE and every bad category in favor of AEW?
You also decided to post the CM Punk meme picture alluding to me being upset that AEW wasn't winning. Could care less what people vote for choices but do care that someone decided to abuse the honor system and messed around with the two TPWW categories that actually matter the most. The invalid votes got tossed because Google's tracking showed it was one person spamming the voting every 30-40 seconds and kept voting the same exact way in several key categories but thinking they were smart enough to avoid detection by tweaking some of their picks for the lesser categories. The fact the same issue popped up twice in the record and followed the exact same routine for spammed votes made it a lot more obvious when I decided to check how things were going for the first time earlier today. |

That was in response to TNARick who said it must have been an AEW fan who spammed the voting when that didn't make sense based on how the spammed votes went. Why would someone who wants AEW to win as many awards as possible spam competitor picks instead.
Your meme pic trying to allude that this whole issue is me not liking how the voting went since "Fed = bad" when your going to look like a big dumbass once the final tallies get released assuming the current percentages hold up and I can explain more about what actually got affected by those scrubbed votes without having to worry about any potential vote swaying. The Sheetys Awards have always been on an honor system because 1) I'm lazy and rather do the least amount of work possible and 2) to make it as less of a hassle for someone to vote while keeping their votes anonymous from others after the 1st awards event. |

Now that the voting is officially close, can talk a bit about the vote spamming incident that occurred earlier and what damages it did to the voting tallys pre- and post-scrubbing.
There were two main instances of it with the latter being a big giveaway of the shenanigans going down. Basically the timestamps, frequency of voting, and the same pattern being followed for the first few categories gave it way in the end since it also showed up in the much larger first instance. Portion of the voting data chart: https://i.imgur.com/7oIjbqK.png The Worst Wrestler not being as uniformed in picks as the others was just a red herring since a similar thing happened in the first instance. In regards to if the scrubbing actually impacted any of the categories, only the 1st and 4th category saw an actual real change with a new #1. Everything else kept its #1 spot the same but with the massive 40-50+ vote lead get whittled down to its real number and some minor flip flopping here and there below the leaders. The few post-scrubbing votes that came in did end up causing a couple of ties to be broken and a mini late surge for a couple other categories. Now that's done, the official winners results post should be up within an hour. |
